Tried the new menu and it was excellent, especially the added vegan options. Really tasty meal, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Added bonus that dogs are welcome in parts of the pub. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly establishment close to Bristol Airport, with comfortable rooms. Shame the chef went home early, so we had to eat in another nearby pub. Best check by phone if arriving late and hoping to eat.

I stayed in the penscot with my dog for two nights, the family made me very welcome, very approachable and friendly, I would definitely recommend it, lovely breakfast plenty to eat, And the village is very scenic very friendly and helpful locals I would definitely go back

Comfortable hotel with nice restaurant Serving a selection of dishes with option of salad or vegetables. We chose the vegetables, a good selection cooked to perfection.
The room was clean and comfortable with ample storage for clothes. Free internet.

We stopped to have lunch here as staying in the cottage opposite,we pulled in as need to ask questions about the cottage as we were trying to find out if it was correct place very very rude staff the way she spoke to us as if we were children and we only wanted to make sure we were in the right place as we had travelled for 3 hours,and when we came to eat felt really uncomfortable to ask about the menu as she was very abrupt and so rude to my partner if it wasnt for the fact that we were so hungry we would have left we couldnt wait to finish our food and get out we paid the bill even before we had finished my advise dont bother
