Wow, just wow. What a beautiful place in a stunning location.
We arrived for a special family celebration a little bit early and the staff handled it brilliantly despite still setting up.
The food, service and atmosphere was second to none.
Thoroughly beautiful evening, highly recommended.

With NZ's strict no drinking laws, this hotel is a challenge for drinkers. Be prepared for a cab ride to town or to dine at the hotel. That being said, superb service, friendly staff and gorgeous rooms are awaiting your enjoyment. A word of caution on the restaurant which is open to the public as well as guests but the meal is about double the price of what you will pay in Rotorua and the menu is fixed so check out the offerings before your commitment.

We spent 3 nights at this property, and honestly could have stayed longer. First off, the service is second to none - from the moment you arrive it's personal, professional, and fantastic. Secondly the location is just amazing. Though it's a little further out, it's still only a 5 or so minute drive into the centre of town, and the views you get from this place make it all worth it. Plus it's peaceful and quiet so it really feels like a holiday. The food is delicious, the facilities and rooms are beautiful, AND they have the most adorable animals on the property which you can feed too - a great feature for kids and adults alike!

Our group of 12 (3 families) stayed at Peppers over the Christmas holiday and had very high expectations when we arrived. The beautiful lake front setting, stunning accommodations and superior service combined to make this one of the most unforgettable experiences of our remarkable trip. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our Christmas holiday vacation exceeded our expectations. Matthew was kind and unfailingly attentive to all details. David, the site manager left no stone unturned. He helped us plan all activities and cared a great deal about whether we were satisfied. The food was terrific and carefully planned. The setting is impossible to beat. Sitting on the shores of beautiful Lake Rotorua the property is only a few minutes from town and the major sight-seeing Rotorua destinations. The accommodations are beautiful and impeccably clean. All in our group are well seasoned travelers and we were completely satisfied with every aspect of Peppers on the Point.

This restaurant has awesome views of the lake. The property is beautifully decorated. Staff are pleasant, accomodating and attentive. We felt at home- not a pretentious place. The fixed menu was excellent. Each course was well prepared, fresh and delicious. We did not feel rushed. They allowed just the right amount of time between courses. The dining areas are separated by different rooms- all nicely decorated. We also had the opportunity to meet the chef. A pleasant surprise! This is a must visit place for a relaxing dinner. Great food, great service and great views!
