What People are saying

Bad for lone travelers, needs renovation!

Mihai V on 24/01/2018 12:27

The goods:
-good service at reception;
-excellent location.

The bads:
-the apartments need renovation, a lot of wear down, even the toilet seat had marks on it;
-the pool needs renovation, the blue paint in the pool is flaking out in many places;
-very important to change windows to PVC for wind. The last 3 days of my stay there, the weather was windy, and because the isolation was bad, you had constant noises from draft between windows and doors. The very last night i couldn't sleep, then i just moved to another hotel.
-no entertainment whatsoever, by reception you get free wi-fi, and there is a room where you can watch TV, until 21:00. That's it.

Now the area around the hotel is also quite devoid of entertainment, so basically what you do is wake up, eat, go to pool, eat, take a walk, eat, sleep. If you are with your family and you follow a budget, then it's ok. If you are alone and money is not a problem, then you have nothing to do.
The beach close by is amazing, but then at just 1 meter deep is filled with rocks, and nobody tells you about it.
To sum up, renovation, entertainment and this will be good.

Perfect view

Glad we paid for 2 seaview Apartments

ARFT on 03/01/2018 16:21

We stayed here over Christmas. I am so glad we paid for the upgrade of seaview apartments. The apartments were basic and in need of TLC both internally and externally, they faced the harbour fronts with stunning views but for the people on the street looking up they looked a lot more shabby than chic with paint peeling and wood rotting! They could do so much! It really is all about the location, location, location and it really wouldn't cost much!! I've written another review on the pool you get to use across the road, again great views but needs tlc also. We have been to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura over Xmas previously and there was more going on even in quieter resorts!! The views in the resort are stunning so would go back for that but would stay elsewhere unless refurb of the apartments!!Oh and just to warn you about the captain and letting off his flares daily/evenings makes you jump such loud bangs!!

Dreadful!

Bern777 on 19/12/2017 16:36

We paid extra for a sea view, and within two days we had to move to another apartment. The apartment is above a restaurant and there was a constant humming noise all night which kept us awake. Along with that we had to deal with all the cockroaches . The rooms are very run down and dirty! In the first apartment, the bottom of the curtains were black! In the second apartment, the curtain in the bedroom appeared to have vomit on it! We bought cleaning materials and I cleaned the apartment every day. Our sheets were not changed at all in the two weeks that we were there!
Swimming pool is across the road, also needs upgrading! The balconies are filthy, full of pigeons droppings! The wood is rotting and so are the canopies!
Avoid ! Not worth the money! It could be quite nice if they spent some money on the properties! There is a kettle and very basic cooking utensils in the kitchen and a fridge freezer, but it’s just too dirty!

Tired apartment and you should read about the pool.

Free sunbeds...but you had to give them up at 4.45pm and the pool was locked at 5pm every day. Free sunbeds...but you have to pay for an umbrella. That's a first. Five days without a change of towels in the apartment. Apartment cleaned, sometimes, but don't expect it to be clean. Don't ask for a quite room as we did before we arrived...reception just don't care. Don't ask anything of reception. Pool is not on site but nearby across the road. Pool Café is good, but they should have employed a maintenance man for the pool area a few years ago...some of it is very poor although the location is great.
