Me and my wife travelled to vellore for the first time and we stayed in Hotel Poppys, the entire stay was good, but when we checked out we had some billing issues, during our stay we asked if there is any pending amount has to be paid, the person in the reception told us there is nothing to pay, next day there was a lady sitting her name is PRIYANKA she told us that Rs.3300 was to be paid both the receptionist staff's were giving different statements. Once we returned to chennai and we called the hotel for clarification THE OTHER STAFF TOLD US US THAT WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED 3300 EXTRA, there was no need of charging extra Again we made calls to clarify no one attend the call not even the GM Mr. Hemant. My advice is to avoid this hotel as this is just for money minded people not for the guest concerns. Be very careful to PRIYANKA ( RECEPTION STAFF) if you are doing any cash transactions with her make sure you check double or triple times before leaving the counter.

Me and my wife travelled to Vellore for the first and we stayed in Hotel Poppys, the entire stay was good, but when we Checked Out we had some billing issues, during our stay my wife asked if there is any pending balance to be paid that reception guy told us that there was nothing to pay, next day again when we asked the lady in reception PRIYANKA she told we have to pay Rs 3000. This calculation didn't understand and after reaching home back in chennai my wife called up the reception for clarification then one of the recepton person told us that we have been asked extra payment which was not on the tariff. And now since we are clling back for clarification no one picks up the call not even the G.M Mr. Hemant. This was the first and last hence forth we won't stay in this hotel and we would also not recommend to others to come and stay here. BEFORE YOU GO CLARIFY ALL THE CHARGES ONCE YOU ARE SATISIFIED THEN ONLY GO AHEAD OTHERWISE OTHER HOTELS ARE ASLO NEAR BY Like Hotel Benzz park, Hotel G.R.T Sameera all near by bustand only

Nice and pleasant hotel to stay if you are planning to visit nearby locations in Vellore esp. temple visits such as jalagandeshwar temple, vellore fort, ratnagiri murugan temple and Sripuram Golden temple. Rooms are neat and clean, staffs are courteous. Apart from stairways, lift is available to move across floors. Parking space is available. The place has a multi-cuisine restaurant as well. The complimentary breakfast varieties were good to taste. Non-veg meals are good to taste esp. pot chicken biriyani. Veg also available but limited options.Card access to room entrance, faced some issues but was fixed by the staffs.

The hotel is located very close to bus stop and it had very nice interior as well
The hotel had very nice dinner menu with all kind of verities
Over all the hotel is very good
Hotel staff is very obidient

Stayed for two days 23rd/24th Nov 17. Booked the entire hotel. 23 rooms in total. But since the hotel was short of one room they gave us a room in a construction floor. When we refused to take this room in the construction floor, Mr Hermant, Manager, started to throw his weight around. He said there was no construction in that floor and wanted us to pay for this room also. Attached are the photos of the floor where we were offered the room. This guy cannot be trusted. . Poor guest rapport. This place should be avoided if possible.
