Primrose is a beautiful little place, met by Lekha and she made me feel very much at home. Plenty of information on local area, nothing seems too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and warm and the breakfast was excellent, don't have the name of the chef who does breakfast but he is great, full of chat and does a mean Full English (although the sausages are Irish and delish). If you are in the NW area of London then Primrose is an excellent stay, close to underground (Belsize park 10 mins walk) and plenty of local restaurants and bars.......Lekha thanks for your hospitality and I hope I can stay there next time I am down South.

Lekha is a fantastic host, she could not have been more helpful. Rooms are lovely and breakfast great. Belsize Gardens is quiet and safe with good restaurants and cafe's. It is only a 10 minute walk from Belsize Park tube station great for sight seeing around London too.

Lekha, the owner, is friendly and attentive. I lived in this wonderful area for 5 years so it was a bit of a homecoming . The room was fine and very clean. Breakfast was great. I suggested the interior and exterior lighting be changed to a warmer hue which would make this guesthouse far more homey and welcoming. Great value for London, nice experience, go for it!

We were extremely happy with our accom and breakfast at this B&B.
Would def recommended ð.
Spacious room, nice bathroom and good selection of things for breaky.
Very convenient location with plenty of restaurants and a nice local pub.
She upgraded us to a bigger bed (not sure if beause hubby is 6'2"?? They obviously have different size rooms (just was for what you want).
Couldn't ask for better.

Primrose Guest House is in a quiet area and close to Underground (Belsize Park )and also a bus C11 which goes to Swiss Cottage underground and Finchley Road. Primrose Garden Road is in a safe area -as much as anywhere is safe in London these days.
Some reviews have mentioned the stairs to the rooms -there is no lift but what do you expect in a building of this age?Anyway if an 80 year old codger like myself can manage it isn't really an issue.
The room I had was of reasonable size, very, very clean and the bed comfortable. An iron, hairdryer and tea/ coffee is also provided. The breakfast was very good -an English one (too much for me ).Juice is provided and combinations available (eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and baked beans)so you can have a different breakfast each day.I was at Primrose Guest House for nine days and didn't get tired of the breakfasts at all
All the above sounds very positive -rightly so but what makes Primrose Guest House really special is the owner. Lehka really goes out of her way to make each guest feel welcome from the warm, initial greeting to a genuine interest in their plans and experiences.This is not something you can always expect so makes a stay here a really 'one out of the box'.
I cannot recommend Primrose Guest House more strongly.
I am looking forward to my next stay which, unfortunately, will not be until next year.
