This resort only has around 14 rooms and because of this it is very easy to feel at home. The rooms are very spacious and are comfortable easy for a longer stay. The management and staff were so flexible, adjusting menus to suit whatever we wanted. Breakfast was varied each day and when you are staying for 10 days this is important. The hotel sits on a very long beach which was great for long strolls. The pool was not particularly large but it was well maintained and good enough. There were enough beds to relax on and the staff were quick to tell us the days when day visitors may come to select our beds early. We were there for Christmas Eve and New Year and the buffet was excellent and we were entertained by the local people with traditional performances along with some very special gymnastics!
There is not any wifi in the rooms which is hardly a problem if this is the sacrifice for such an idyllic location. You do need to make sure you take care in the water as at high tide it is not easy to see the coral and you make get swept onto it with the strong tides.
There are no hawkers on this beach, but you can have a lovely time watching the fisherman who share their beach harmoniously with the visitors. The resort buys a variety of seafood that is prepared by the chef each day for you to enjoy.
There air-conditioning and nets in the rooms, the only down side was ours air-conditioning was a little noisy and we shared our spacious room with our daughter who is tall. So the beds they have for a triple share are really only for children. I may be nice to have one proper bed to place in the rooms when it is a triple share and not just children sharing as there is plenty of room to do this.

We stayed at Amani twice and both occasions have been truly memorable. It was the perfect getaway.
Dinish and his team were fantastic- they were very attentive, courteous and professional.
A third visit to beautiful Amani is at the top of our list.

If you are looking for a mellow & quiet time in a beautiful scenery then this is the place to be. I loved every minute of my stay. Clean fresh air. The hotel staff are exceptional. The rooms are clean & very spacious. The bed, exquisite. Beautiful views of the ocean and very well kept pool.The food is delicious. Enjoyed the cliff walk. A return trip is most certain.

There is a private beach and a nice pool!
The perfect getaway after a busy safari or a visit to Dar.
