It is a very beautiful place to go.
The room was perfect: we had a four poster bed, with another one oustide in the garden to happily enjoy reading outside, and an outside shower.
The swimming pool gives a view of a rice paddy field and the staff is very friendly.
The anilations are a little expensive though.
There is no driver in the hotel but there is one just 100 meters next to te hotel that I highly recommend.

Nice hotel in an authentic area of Bali, close to Ubud and main attractions.
Nice sized and balinese style rooms.
Staff is helpful.
You can get massages, yoga or cooking classes at extra charges.
Only downfall : the breakfast is really light.

We stayed here for 2 days and really enjoyed this authentic part of Bali, away from the touristic crowd and in the quiet, natural environment of a small village, where people run their daily routines of working in the rice fields and living their family life.

I loved this resort, such a gorgeous setting amongst tropical forest and rice paddies, away from the busy tourist spots. The rooms were luxurious yet authentic and the food was delicious and also very authentic. The people are so generous and I really enjoyed the fact that this area of Bali has retained it's culture so well. Great place to visit for a luxurious getaway with some real culture.

We recently stayed at this amazing place for a work conference and enjoyed an authentic Balinese experience in a beautiful environment. Our accommodation was spacious and beautifully furnished with a very comfy large bed. Airconditioning was excellent and the outdoor shower was a nice experience. We had access to a lovely pool overlooking the rice paddies. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Would definitely recommend Puri Taman Sari for a peacful, authentic Balinese experience. Hope to get back one day.
