We visited the Purist Villas in November 2017 for our honeymoon. I can guarantee this is one of the best choices in Bali for that purpose!
It is situated in the middle of the jungle and it feels as though you reside in paradise. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is excellent, the scenery is magical and the villas are so awesome!
Due to the volcano, we had to shorten our stay, but in the purist they did everything to compensate our loss. They even upgraded our room to the Hill Villa, which by the way I absolutely recommend if you can afford it!
As we booked the 5-day package, we got the extra activities for free. The trekking in the fields is a must and our guide, Sudarma, was the best with all these details and local secrets he revealed to us. Thank you Purist Villas for the wonderful time we had and thank you Sudarma for guiding us!
We hope we meet again in future!

Would highly recommend, staff amazing and friendly. nothing to difficult.
Stayed in a two bedroom with private pool. AMAZING wished we stayed more than 3 nights.
Bathroom fab with outside shower and relaxing bath.
Restaurant with delicious local food..
Would highly recommend and will be back

We stayed at this place for 3 nights and it was perfect. We stayed in a Jungle Pool Room and loved the attentive care from the staff to always clean and present our room in the best way. The food and drinks were of the highest quality but the real highlight was our day trip with Sudarma, who took us around the UBUD markets and fields on a fun filled day. Great staff ....Great location and would stay there again in a heart beat!

We staid a week at the Purist around Christmas and we were really happy about everything. The staff were professional, friendly and respectful of our privacy. The villa was super clean, well decorated and quiet. The restaurant was good with a great attention to flavour and presentation. The Purist is a fantastic value, we are looking forward to go back there.

This was our first trip to Bali and our son, who works in Singapore, booked it because he know the area well.
It was a great choice.
The staff were polite and courteous, every one of them. Not one showed any attitude. In fact, it looked as though they were enjoying their jobs which Iâm sure they arenât.
Our room was cleaned but we never saw a cleaner. They only cleaned when we were clear of the resort which shows attentiveness and care.
The food was excellent but not cheap by any means. But it was better than risking a serious fall through the potholes in the pavements down in the town.
There was no view but we didnât expect one so...
We were able to make our room free of animals and cool with the sprays provided.
We slept well and felt very comfortable for our entire stay.
