One night stay midweek, with colleagues.
Hotel is set off from the dual carriageway by 5o m or so.
Looks a little rundown
Staff were friendly
Bed Room was quiet and clean
Bathroom however was old and tending to mouldy.
Plenty of chain eateries in Castlegate across the road so didnât use restaurant or bar.
Itâs a cheap overnight stay let down by poor bathroom cleanliness.
Otherwise ok.

Stopped here for a night as part of a national coach holiday trip.
Room was quite comfortable and clean with all modern items such flat screen tv, large comfy bed and hot shower in the bathroom.
Dinner was a bit hectic as our whole coach ate in same sitting, with other guests eating in another room. Food was ok, 3 course but nothing out of the ordinary, soup, chicken dinner and crumble for pud.
Coffee served in the bar was strange though.
Stopped for few beers in the bar, a tenner for bottle of cider and a glass of wine.
Small bar but adequate for one night.
Entertainment was ok, a couple of guys singing county- folk etc.
Good nights sleep with no outside noise at all, so woke refreshed. Nice to have a brew in the room whilst we washed and dressed.
Breakfast was decent with our coach again eating in one sitting, this time the food was buffet style. Staff had trouble keeping the small servery stocked as it continually ran out. Then a second coach load of people came in and chaos rained as no food and no seats. Poor staff struggled !
On reflection a decent hotel for one night but it is on a dual carriageway and a bit remote with nowhere to go such as a pub if you stayed longer

Normally I donât get put off by reviews and as long as the hotel is clean then itâs fine.
Paid £50 to stay here which doesnât include breakfast.
On arrival we were given our key, walked into the room that was already occupied.
On second attempt the room was ready. The bathroom is disgusting that I couldnât bring myself to use the shower. Hair on the beds, rubbish in the bins still.
Spend the extra £8 and book a Premier inn or travel lodge, this is an awful place.

We booked the Quality Hotel for our Christmas meal and our group of around 30 people really enjoyed ourselves and we could not fault the meal we were served with by staff who were very professional and attentative towards our group thanks very much

A mixed party of 10 joined the New Year Party.
We had no previous experience of the hotel.
I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. From the drinks reception at the start of the evening to leaving we were happy.
The food was HOT and Plentiful. The cheese board at the end of the meal was lovely. I have to say the staff were helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be there.
We will be returning.
Extremely good value for money.
