It's one of the good hotel in Kumbakonam. Food is really good.. and the service at the restaurant is awesome. Good Location.. Adjacent pond is good for walking. House keeping needs to improve a lot as the service is poor. Please keep reminding them to clean the room, otherwise it will not be done

Good friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms were neat and tidy. Buffet was good. Hotel stay was good.Hotel was ok but toilets need maintainance. food was tasty .On the whole since our purpose of visit was to visit Temples it worked out well.
Located at a busy location. A decent hotel for short stays.

I've been to Kumbakonam couple of days ago with my wife to visit some temples, I happen to stay at Quality Inn VIHA for couple of days. I was visiting the place for the first time and had no clue about the hotels and the city, my expectations were not very high as Kumbakonam is not a big city.But however, I had a good experience staying in this hotel and the restaurant is amazing, the quality of rooms, restaurant, food, ambiance and service was above my expectations and match to the good star hotels in metro cities.
Especially the restaurant staff and people at reception were very courteous and always welcomed me with a broad smile, restaurant staff Ms.Pushpa Latha, Mr. Muthu Kumar and others were very professional and friendly. Food was also of good quality and taste.
Special thanks to my hotel driver, Muthu who has takes us to all temples and was very helpful in covering all the temples.

I have been to Kumbakonam many times and have stayed at many different hotels. This has been the best hotel i have stayed in to date. It is a mid range hotel but given the limited choices you have in the city, it stands above its competition.
Pros
1. Rooms are big and clean
2. They provide complementary water everyday
3. Restaurant is priced decent and is good food too
4. helpful staff and they go out if way to help
5. Overall good and neat hotel
Cons
1. Bathroom fittings need upgrade as they are turning yellow. I understand it is due to water, but they need to change after few years.
2. Bathroom cleanliness next to reception is not upto mark
3. New towels for rooms needed as the current ones are no longer white.

Hotel stay was good for our family of 3. Hotel was ok but toilets need maintainance. Also rooms were infested with mosquitoes stuck to the ceilings luckily they did not come down to bite us . Restaurant was good food was tasty . But breakfast varieties not much. On the whole since our purpose of visit was to visit Temples it worked out well. Special mention about staff sundari at the restaurant her smiling face and going that extra mile for all customers was commendable . Decent hotel for a family stay .
