This is not a stay in another modern 5 star joint but a very personalized experience ! Pedro at the reception is great and makes sure you're fully satisfied with your stay. Can't wait to get back !

Went to my friends to this amazing place, a fantastic house - that took us back in time - very peaceful and relaxing. Everything was clean and cozy. Shame I couldn't stay longer.
Totally recommend it for all types of travellers.

We booked room for two nights and had to stay another night, much due to our hosts Joao and Florence who went out of their way to keep us happy and satisfied. Their hospitality and helpfulness is hard to find. Our hosts received us very warmly, and showed us around the house, which had all the modern amenities including a hospitality bar. The breakfast with home baked bread, home made jam, cheese, chocolate croissants etc was delicious. They also served dinner with four courses and Joao proved himself to be a top chef and Flo made beautiful desserts. We'd love to come back just for the food!
The Quinta is a perfect location for a base from which to explore Alentejo, in the local area by foot, or through day trips to other parts of the area. Besides exploring the area by car, we took long walks around the property, enjoying olive trees, cork trees, sheep, cows and beautiful weathered granite landforms. We'll certainly come back to this jewel and next time we hope to be in time for olive picking.
