Not a great place to stay here. you will find most of the hotels in this shape. these are only basic rooms with no facility. The rooms are not properly maintained and the place is not very accessable.

Don't be fooled by the green scenic entry and the look of the cottages from the outside, the cottages are not maintained at all.
We had several issues and hassles during our short one night stay here:
1)On reaching Govardhan, the Parikrama Road which led to the resort was blocked and so we called up the hotel reception to ask for an alternative way. The receptionist was very vague in giving directions and said she was not a local and did not know the route. Later, she put the phone on hold and didn't return back to clear our query.
2)The interior of cottage which we were provided looked very run down and old(curtain rod was broken, no socket for heater in the rooms, walls were peeling/damaged etc)
3)The bathroom's flush task wasn't working and the bathtub had rust and dirt in it.
4)The television was not receiving signal and when they changed it, the second television did not work either.
5)The phone landline was not working and we were unable to call the reception desk. When we did call the reception from our cellphone, the manager heard our problems and then did a similar thing the receptionist did- put us on hold and said he wasn't able to hear us.
Overall, the staff, including the manager did not seem to care and were unable to fix any of the issues except the heater. It is not worth the money at all and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The road which connects to the resort is dangerous. Had a horrific experience . A drunk guy stopped our car and tried to attack. Somehow we got rid of him. Resort administration should take appropriate care.
Clean rooms were provided,resort was good,no WIFI.
Food was pathetic. Worst taste. Minimal varieties.

We were attending a wedding at this resort, which has groups of cottages on very attractive grounds. There were many workers maintaining the grounds, but the cottages were in poorer shape. Our first one had a water heater that leaked directly on to the toilet below it. There was no heating, so the rooms became quite cold in the December night, while during the day the door could not be kept open due to the monkeys. Room maintenance is very poor, and there was dust and dead insects in the corners. No Wifi in the rooms, only the reception area.

We stayed at this Resort during our visit to Govardhan and boy was it a BIG letdown! The spacious bathrooms had flush tanks that didn't work, the mattresses in our villa, Yamuna 1 were rock solid and painful to sleep on and so were the pillows.
The TV in the room didn't work and we had to wait a good half an hour for somebody to come to punch in the code of the set top box and make it work.
The villa houses up to 4 guests and the tea/coffee/creamer sachets were in sufficient for even 2 persons.
Avoid this resort and head to a simple dharamshala.... where at least you will get what you pay for.
