I thought I'd try out the Indian Radisson hotels on this business trip rather than go to usual hotel that my work colleagues usually stay at.
The hotel is located at the end of Chennai Airport's runway so you see and hear aircraft. But this doesn't detract at all from the hotel. That has a lovely poolside at the back of the hotel surrounded by palm trees for relaxation.
The room was good but the wallpaper on the feature walls would benefit from replacement. Has tea & coffee facilities. Iron, safe and most of the features you would expect of an Indian luxury hotel.

- Service in my room each day, with towels creatively constructed into various animals, weather cards and flowers in the room to add to the immaculately clean room. Thanks to Paul Kumar and Sandhiya for this great service.
- Salt Co 531 and Sathish Kumaar and his team made my stay special with great food and a charming personality not just from Sathist but all of his team mates. The chef will cook to request too. Making me a fantastic veg thali, one weekend. If there is something you want just ask, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
- The spa is a must use with discounts available on use.

These are only minor grumbles really...my stay was otherwise perfect.
- The Great Kebab Factory - I just didn't like it as it was a gallop through indian cusine. I can see how it is useful for entertaining business colleagues, though.
- Not sure about their biriyani...I think they probably need to cook it longer and with more meat. Sorry guys, I love my biriyani's as I make my own. Maybe I am just one of those severe judges on biriyani quality.
- the hotel didn't email me a copy of my bill that I was promised I would received. Suspect this is because they didn't know how to print to PDF. Maybe next time I visit I can show them.
I'd definitely stay here again and I will tell work colleagues about it too!

An average hotel with a very service minded staff. Good facilities which offers you a very nice stay. The restaurants inside the hotel have good variety of foods both local and European dishes. Rooms needs some updates to be at the same level as some of other Radissonâs though.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Radisson Blu in Chennai near the airport and each time I have enjoyed the experience. This time I came through with my mum, on the way back from Tiruvanammalai. We were informed that our room was upgraded to an executive suite - a very pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, luxurious and clean with all the commodities and more, including a massage chair. The power got shorted by my plugging laptop into the wrong plug, but they were there promptly to fix it up. They also kindly agreed to wheel in a second bed to the spare room. All up, excellent service by co-operative, helpful and delightful staff. The dahl in the breakfast menu was particularly tasty. I would recommend this as a place to stay for anyone needing accommodation close to airport - 5 -10 minutes drive away!

I loved the customer centric approach of this hotel , one of the best ! My room was super spacious and from check in till check out everything was properly handled . I loved this approach . The only point I didnât enjoy was the foot reflexology as it could be better , rest everything was ððððð

An abbreviated overnight stay, with a 5am departure, so time was of the essence. So, delighted with the chauffeur service from the airport. The driver had our room key, so just a case of showing ID and then off to the room. We were offered, and accepted, a complimentary foot massage 30 minutes after arrival, which was unexpected. No time for meals, but there was fruit in our room, which did the trick. A take-away coffee in the morning completed a very efficient and comfortable stay. A word about the staff. I cannot remember when last I was so impressed with hotel staff. Efficient, friendly and helpful, of the highest order. Well done.
