I booked here as a surprise trip for my husbands 40th and we've never been to gdansk. When researching I did look at a few other hotels including the Hilton but this one is by far the best location! It's in the heart of the old town which is stunning. It seemed a very quiet time when we visited but that certainly didn't spoil the break. In walking distance there are many bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Plus a stones throw from the canal and lots of museums.
The room was certainly adequate, not great with two single beds pushed together but fine. One of the mattresses (room 444) dips on one side. I had to swap with my husband after the first night as he couldn't sleep in it. Was ok for me. The bathroom has a good selection of toiletries and a hair dryer and spotlessly clean.
The mini bar is well stocked but extortionate in price. We bought a couple drinks from one of the many local shops and took those back to the room for a night cap.
We did use the hotel bar with free pool table. It does lack atmosphere and the prices are a lot but overall very comfortable.
Breakfast was very very good. Huge selection for all tastes aswell as freshly cooked omelettes and pancakes if that's what you wanted. No complaints at all there.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I recommend? Yes. It's more than comfortable and clean. Excellent base!
For extra info the taxis to the airport from the hotel they said was a flat rate of 70 zloty. On the meter we had to pay 80! On the way to the hotel from the airport we paid 60? So just check the costs before getting in.
Gdansk itself is lovely and we will certainly go back in a few years as they seem to be developing the area a lot.

We stayed for 2 nights. Hence, with such a short stay, location is important. This hotel is perfectly located, a few steps away from town square and the canal. The room (business room) was spacious, clean and delicate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with an intimate atmosphere. When I return to Gdansk I will definitely stay at this hotel

Nice specious room. Great location and yummy breakfast.
Great service loved the music /tv in washroom u did not miss a thing.
Later check out wasnât a problem.
Front desk is friendly and professional.
Would stay again.

Pros: Location is great, staff are nice and breakfast was one of the best i have ever eated.
Cons: Wi-fi was terrebly(business Class room); first room it didnt work at all second room it worked half of the time. Have to use roaming data. First night we got a room with two single beds. Those were so small, soft and uneven that we slept on floor with extra matress. When we complainted second time we was given new room. (First time ever that i have changed room)
In both rooms smart tv (interactive) worked poorly. Also gym and Health and spa-section is not even close to 5 star-standart.

Don't let the little alley/road way deter you from booking at this location. It is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and a wonderful restaurant that serves delicious breakfasts. The beds are so comfortable and if I could sleep forever in them I would. The shower is amazing but climbing in and out of the tub is a pain given the height of it. This is a perfect location from the square. A portion of the Berlin Wall and Walsea Wall is about a 20 minute walk away, as is the Gdansk Glowny railroad station, which connected my friend to an area where he could see the Baltic Sea. The seaport is nearby and is breath taking to visit given all the history. This a beautiful city and I want to come back!
