The Radisson Blu Muscat is a great base for exploring both Muscat and Oman. The hotel has an amazing pool area where you can relax and unwind. We only spent a couple of hours at the pool as there is plenty to keep you occupied in Oman. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops, and it is very easy to walk around Muscat, even crossing the road is simple, motorists actually stop for you. There are a couple of Malls about a 15 minute walk with another great selection of restaurants and shops. In the hotel the front office staff were very helpful, Ashik, Bilal, Trevor and Essia especially. Essia provided me with a great running route. When booked a business class room which was great, a special mention to the housekeeping staff, always great service, the room was spotless every day. In the the business lounge Rashpal was great, a good selections of snacks. The breakfast was outstanding and again the staff were great, Mahesh and Rashpal.
We loved the hotel and although it is not near the beach you can easily get there for around 3 Rials. The Italian restaurant in the hotel Sole o Mia had great food. We visited O Malleys the hotels Irish bar, good selection of beers and good food, especially burger night.
The hotel was clean and we found the staff very helpful and friendly. We used the tour company in the lobby of the hotel for several excursions.
All in all we had a wonderful trip to Oman and really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Blu, although the hotel is predominately for business we found it catered for tourists brilliantly. Thank you to all staff.

- Business Lounge was great and was always pleasant to step in.
- Pool and the bar next to the pool was a real highlight.
- Though the room and the bathroom are okay, they are a little bit old and usually rooms are bigger nowadays.

The hotel is located in mascate. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. The restaurant and breakfast is at the pool area and you can dine outdoor. However the pool is just at the border of a highway entrance putting some minus point on the charm of the hotel.

Please increase the main course for vegetarians along with starter. overall ambiance was good and location also was good. Very positive atmosphere and taxi readily available all the time.

We stayed for our first two night in Oman and chose this hotel as it had good access to major roads to explore Muscat and the rest of Oman.
The location itself had a few shops and restaurants, and a public park with childrenâs play area. I recommend having a hire car otherwise you will be spending a small fortune on taxis as the major attraction are space out in all directions.
We arrived 8am and were checked into early our rooms at 9am which was great after a 8 hour flight with a two year old.
Breakfast was included which was good, unfortunately this could not be said for dinner as the pizzaâs were made from a ready made pizza base - something you find in a supermarket aisle.
The pool was heated and open late but it was next to a fly over, which didnât bother us as we hardly spent time at the hotel.
Over all we had a pleasant stay and the Hotel itself was clean and staff very friendly.
