This place is why we visited Rajasthan in first place. Deluxe Tents within the sandy surrounding of Jaisalmer. Food, entertainment, the feel was exquisite. Chill of the dessert winter tripled the fun. Must visit.
Excellent Service and very well managed Tents.

We stayed on 1st of November 2017 with family group of 18 people in this resort.
This is best place for Jaisalmer tent stay .Excellently Managed by Mr. Raghuveer Singh and his strength is his team who Provide very excellent Service and Jain food was really awesome even the rooms were nice and clean. Staff was very helpful as we informed them to arrange a morning jeep safari at 12pm in night and still they arrange the same . Thanks a ton to Mr. Raghuveer singh and Team Royal people with real royal big heart of royal Rajasthan thanks for making our trip really a memorable and royal one.
Average Desert Camp

We had this booking via. some agent and we discovered that this has tents that do not come with an A/C facility defeating the entire purpose of us wanting to stay in a camp. They had alternate rooms in the camp - which is essentially some form of a hotel. Kind of pointless, when we wanted to stay in tents. The facility is okay - but the food was below average and very sub-par compared to the food we had elsewhere. The camel arrangement was fine - but we had some older folks in our group and when we asked for alternate transportation to the sand dunes, they told us that we were supposed to book earlier. Not sure how anyone who has never been to Rajasthan desert camps is supposed to know and pre-book. The bathrooms in the rooms were okay at best - and didn't really work properly / as expected - so overall quite a disappointing facility. Highly suggest everyone to look at other camps and thoroughly read reviews before booking. There are other reviews here that suggest this facility being better than our experience - which I would super caution against.
one of the best camp on sam sand dunes

its a very nice place to stay on thar desert. camp provide luxury tents and cottages. we have booked cottage. that includes foods and Rajasthani folk music and dance show. they have all the amenities which are possible on desert. like clean water, quality food, electricity, ac, hard n soft drinks, clean well furnished rooms with huge modernised bathrooms. quality of the foods are good but you can't get variety or food of your choice. stuffs are well mannered and very friendly and helpful, they have guided us very well. they also provide camel and jeep safari which we have to pay separately.
both tent and cottage are well furnished. camp has a swimming pool, dining area, evening performance area, bar, party area and a huge sandy lawn. location of the camp is very convenient for desert and desert safari, but its almost one hour drive from Jaisalmer from city and sonerkilla. the atmosphere of the camp very good you can visit with family or groups.

Stay at Rajasthan Desert Safari was great. And was my first experience to stay in tent. It was as luxurious as 5 star hotel rooms and amazing hospitality given by their staff. Ee got fully enjoyable days there. Hope we back soon.
