Room was very dusty. Bathroom not cleaned properly. Dirty bathroom mirror, taps, shelves and toilet splash back dirty. Skirting boards Dusty. Over bed Dusty. Dusty floor. Lovely radiator in room. Evening meal was ok. Breakfast was better with a good selection of items to eat and drink. Did find staff at evening meal lurking around us while we were eating, would have been better if they were more discrete. The serving staff were much more friendly than the reception staff.

The staff were very unwelcoming especially for this time of year when we wanted a nice relaxed night after a busy Christmas. No greeting on arrival. Very rude member of staff who did not make our stay very pleasant. Emily has poor hospitality skills so should not be working in a hotel. Although it is an affordable price I would rather pay double the amount to have at least a friendly customer service. The breakfast was nice, rooms could be updated as they have wear and tear marks on the wall and roof. The bedding needs closer attention as was not made to the normal standard you would expect when going to a hotel. I stay in hotels regularly and will definitely not return to this ibis and will tell everyone about the poor service and quality of our stay. We told Debbie about our stay at the end she was friendly and apologised but this does not compensate for the rest of the stay.

We were booked into this hotel on a coach trip. I was a bit sceptical having previously been disappointed with this hotel chain. Excellent location just off the motorway. Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel looks as if it has recently been refurbished. Our room was of a good size, and was clean and comfortable. Lovely shower. A three-course evening meal and breakfast were included. Both were very nice with good choice available. The bar very was not open to us due to the fact that several Christmas parties were being hosted that evening, but we were offered the use of a confence room with a TV. Liked the fact that we could adjust the radiator in the room as it was very cold that night. Good value. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you.

We stayed here for one night while on a Xmas market coach trip to Lincoln and Leeds. The hotel was clean and staff were polite and welcoming. check in was quick and straight forward. Our stay included an evening meal and breakfast. I was impressed with both. They were fresh and the roast dinner in the evening was good. Only one negative, there was a Xmas party in the hotel. that meant we couldn't use the bar area but we were allowed to use a couple of meeting rooms that had TVs in them. No atmosphere in these rooms so we popped across the car park to a nearby pub (only 100 yards away from hotel). Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet and I slept very well. This is a good value hotel and I would stay recommend

What amazing staff at this hotel. After a very fraught day when a coach crashed into my car whist parked in the hotels carpark. I have had to hang around for over 10 hours waiting for a hire car to arrive to get me back home to North wales. The manager, reception staff and all other staff checked on me regularly asking if there was anything they could do for me. I work in customer services and each and every staff member has gone above and beyond the call of duty. A great team thatâs a real credit to this group. Wouldnât hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
