Hotel is located in Old Doha, However, Hotel is quite old but clean and Staff is very helpful, Especially Mr Sohail at the Reception, Housekeeping is a bit slow and need to call for bathroom amenities, Roof Top Swimming pool is clean but little deep 165 CM at another end and also there is no lifeguard.
Overall this hotel is a good choice for a short stay.

We stayed at the Ramada Encore in Doha for short 6 day visit while attending the WISE Qatar foundation summit.
This hotel is located in the heart of Doha very close to such landmarks as: The Islamic Arts Museum, one of the key places we wanted to visit for our project/trip; The famous corniche, with its water front and traditional boats and harbours; and other notable landmarks such as the impressive Royal Diwan / parliament / palace also on the corniche.
The hotel importantly is also very close to Souk Waqaf, A traditional Arab souk with wonderful array of souvenir shops, alfresco restaurants and cafes - a highlight are the fish restaurants serving delicious seafood dishes from the local fresh catch. Souk Waqaf is at least worth one visit one evening for food.
The hotel is not in the much more expensive commercial district, but the is still well suited for the business customer, has great amenities from Wi-Fi, fitness facilities, swimming pool and also has great concierge services that can arrange most things including easy transportation through chauffeur, public taxi, shuttle too any location in Doha.
The rooms are very nicely furnished some of which have very nice views and the hotel was very clean through out and restaurants food of a good standard. Also, you have access to delivery from almost any restaurant in the whole of Doha straight to your room, leaving you with endless food choices. The staff are extremely helpful and the hotel has all the modern facilities you would expect.
I definitely recommend taking a walk to Souk Waqaf, or along the Corniche, which you can do when it isn't too hot in the evenings, here you can join the droves of other walkers including many expats on this amazing walk along the waterfront, which goes all the way to the city commecial centre- just walk towards - the high-rise buildings/skyline!
This walk will take you past many attractions, boat rides and locals having their family picnics. At the end of which in the commercial centre where you can find modern attractions like malls, cinemas and global branded restaurant chains.
Recreationally, I highly recommend a visit to the Islamic arts Museum, also located on the corniche very close by, for which entry is free, for perhaps the best Islamic arts/history museum I have seen anywhere in the world.
It has a tremendous collection of valuable and rare artefacts, Quranic Scriptures, treasures and high-value exhibitions acquired from all over the Islamic world and over Islam's many centuries.
One of the greatest positives about this hotel is its location for what is still a very reasonable price by local standards - hotels can be quite expensive at peak periods especially.

I was lodged by Qatar Airlines as a transit Passenger. It was a very good experience as the Staff speak good English, provided all the vital information verbally and on a flier of the Hotel and were always ready to provide help wherever necessary.
The Reception was large and the decor was tastefully done to make the visitor comfortable, notwithstanding, the hot whether outside at that time of the year.
The rooms were quite big, very neat and the bed was just another good story of comfort and cleanliness. Other facilities are all to a standard of International hotel.
Room service was fast and the food was tasty and sweet.
The Restaurant was neatly arranged with quality decor enhanced with local arts.
It was simply another life time experience!

Friendly and helpful welcome by desk staff.
Good location not far from airport. They can quickly provide pick up and drop off to airport.
Rooms are a good size with necessary amenities. Clean and in good condition.
Breakfast buffet enough to get your day underway and room service was good.

I stayed in ramada encore for one night ,food was good and staff was very supportive.i recommed this hotel for famlies.Hotel is in city with approx 20 min drive to city center,Nice and clean swimming pool but no liquor a available,
