It is a homestay which entitles you to provide most of your own things, they provide the space for you to sleep, not many get that fact when stated HOMESTAY. So with that said the staff is very friendly and accommodating where possible but ONE FACT they neglect to mention is it is a COMMUNAL (shared) kitchen and there are rooms next to each other. You have access to the rooftop which is just beautiful of Fort Kochi. I recommend you have a picnic up there and definitely take your CITRONELLA candle or two :)

Rampart was great. I stayed in the dorm room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the other guests were friendly too. The house was beautiful and the facilities were very clean. The room even had a nice balcony. I also appreciated that they had free drinking water available. The house is in a convenient area, near to main attractions but not too touristy. And the value was great for the price.

The staff was great and the room was clean I recommend this hostel if you are budget traveler .unfortunately they don't have a place to connect with other traveler (just rooms) but still nice and quiet in my opinion :)

I had a great stay at this place. Packed my bags just for a couple of days, but the staff there was so nice which made me to come again after a couple of days stayed there for almost 10 days. Very nice staff, very hygiene and cleanly maintained rooms. Kudos to the administration and thanks to the management staff Ms. Haizel, Mr. Darwin and Ms. Reena for making my stay so comfortable, memorable and enjoyable.

Stayed at this hostel in the off season. Was in the 6 bed dorm. Overall a good experience. It was quiet at that time of year. I'd go back, but one thing I would note is that there were only a couple outlets for our whole room.
