Awesome hotel at a very good location! The rooms were excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the food at Meridian Restaurant was amazing. We had booked two Deluxe rooms, and they gave us complimentary upgrade to Executive Rooms.

Good service, great breakfast, great ambience in rooms and central location very near to Bus stand and Tiruchirapalli junction Railway station. Perfect for short trips and nominal prices for food and beverages.

The way to the entrance and reception of the Hotel Ramyas is via a perilous climb up an almost 45 degree drive from the main road. People were struggling but the staff at either end of the drive just looked on. The room was ok and the breakfast a bit thin....what sort of omelette? Cheese please....there is only mushroom, etc etc. It was difficult to even access the coffee. I donât think a return visit is on the cards.

We went to so many hotels at night and most of them had the reception closed. We were glad the reception was open for this hotel and managed to get a room.
The room was okay. The toilet - a pail provided to shower & the shower was not working. The staff was friendly. The buffet breakfast had so many varieties of local food - I enjoyed savouring the various dishes.

Hotel is next to railway station and bus station. Easy to find. Reception staff need to speak better English and for starters provide 2 room keys for 2 adults in a room. If one guest has a different plan for the day the hotel reception seems to get frantic about opening the door using a master key...wish they could understand how foreigners prefer independence and convenience. Rooms were nice but replenishment of amenities or towels were poor. Staff would not put in toilet rolls...foreigners use toilet paper and aren't used to a bidet system. The restaurant Meridian was my favorite. .loved the staff and service and food. Staff in the restaurant spoke beautiful English. Other than that one night we had loud speaking guests outside our room and some sort of prayer bells early in the morning. ..this is india...you always get woken up. Whilst I understand this hotel sees more indian guests even indian tourists don't always speak tamil...English needs to be learnt. Housekeeping staff simply hang up...frustrating. .more etiquette needed. Excuse that towels are being washed hence only one towel is available. Door or bath mats never were changed. Outside balcony never mopped. I was ok with the hotel but it just needs a bit more effort. Breakfast was great but again staff do not understand what a plain boiled egg is. Across the hotel is fem mall...it has a supermarket too.
