Stayed for 2 nights, arrived and first room had no hot water in the shower. We were moved to room 24, where we discovered each time you flushed the toilet, it all leaked out the back, and I don't mean a trickle. I couldn't be bothered to move to a 3rd room, so put the hand towels round the pan.
The sofa was badly stained with god knows what, there was no hair dryer and the extractor was useless, didn't keep mirror clear at all.
We didn't bother having breakfast, went out instead. The only plus side was friendly staff.

Door poorly fitting so noisy from people in corridor. Bathroom overpowered by bleach - I think they must put bleach tablets in the cistern because every flush gave a "bleach boost". The hotel may be set well back from the A1 but the road noise was heavy. The reception, also used as the food section, stank of vinegar - not nice. On a positive side the lady on duty was pleasant but that did not offset the negatives. Not to be repeated.

Have stayed here quite a few times as staff are very friendly and atmosphere is great, Rooms are always clean and although a bit dated comfortable. Its very convenient as its on A1. Breakfast free and internet.
All in all highly recommend.

Lovely little hotel situated in A1Southbound. Set far back enough to not hear traffic at night.
The staff are very friendly and helpful
Free continental breakfast just help yourself.
Decor a bit outdated but gives it nice retro style
Nice countryside feel , look out of window & just see bushes etc

Good value low budget hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and functional with plenty of tea and coffee.
Breakfast was good cereals, toast and jam.
Nice stay
If you are after a low cost budget hotel this is a good option
