When perusing TripAdvisor reviews for hotel accommodations not in the USA I frequently put more weight on reviews from fellow American travelers. Americans tend to be more âpickyâ and are used to standards set forth by chains of American hotels. So in that spirit I am going to review my hotel accommodations henceforth as if they were American hotels.
This motel is like a good Hampton Inn
Towels and Bedding: Bedding and towels adequate
Room Ambiance: At first I thought it would be noisy because it is on the main street. The street traffic dies down at night so it did not bother me. There was a party at the pool until 10:30 pm that was loud. The AC is very slow to cool the room, but once it did it was OK. The WiFi is not good. Slow and spotty.
Cleanliness: The housekeeping is spotless, one of the cleanest I have stayed in.
Would I Stay here again: Yes.
Tips. This town somehow got listed as âtheâ place to go in NZ the NY Times travel section 2018. There are no high end hotels or motels in this town. The street this motel is on has most of the motels on it and none of them impressed me.

Canât say enough positive things about the staff. Left all documents in the room and got all back with the money on our return. Prepared to ship and were most accommodating Had a great family vacation

Spotless rooms. Everything you need, even a kitchen. Seperate bedrooms & sliding doors leading out to a private courtyard. The lounge is spacious & they have full sky TV which a lot of place's don't. The pool is great, even on a stormy day! The bath rooms have a full spa in them & are huge. You would not want to stay anywhere else in Rotorua with a family.

We arrived in Rotorua desperate to find a room on a busy weekend the staff here were A class knew the business and Rotorua dos and donts room.was clean beautifully set up and comfortable bed. Ill be back to stay one of the best.

Had a night in a one bedroom suite, with spa bath. The room was adequate, clean with nice tray of welcoming milk and cookies. We were able to have an early check in, which was lovely as we were meeting a tour group from here. Swimming area looked nice but didn't have a chance to use it.
