This is a massive hotel. Older style but still good. We were given a smoking room first and after requesting a non smoking room all was fine. We had 4 beds and a separate toilet and bathroom which worked well. There is a bar fridge. The bathrooms are really well stocked with everything you can imagine. There is a shuttle (free) bus that runs every 6 mins from the train station. There are always weddings and conferences on. We treated ourselves to the afternoon tea which was a nice experience. The breakfast had a good array of western and Japanese style food. Lots of expensive designer shops. A great bakery and even a 7/11 store in the basement.

The hotel is placed in the business district of Osaka, so its a little ways away from Dotonbori and other popular tourist spots, but it isn't hard to get around and its only around 10-20 minutes to get there. The hotel was nice as there were multi-lingual staff members, they had good suggestions for close by restaurants, a taxi stop for quick commuting options, and a lot of restaurants. One concern was that we did get an older room than we were expecting. Like it seemed very old, which isn't a problem, as it was big and clean but I was surprised because the photos made it seem like all the rooms were modern. Perhaps it was just our room or wing though.
Overall it is a good hotel, and I would recommend it.

From Osaka Station, we caught Rhiga's free shuttle to the hotel (Shuttles are at the station every 6-10 minutes or so.) We were dropped off by the main lobby and greeted by a dude in a top hat (Classy lol.) Check in was easy, and we even had someone escort us to our room (her name was Allison, and she was awesome..) Allison showed us everything we needed and answered all of our questions. The suite was very clean, and we had a great view of the river. It included your basic necessities: Soap, shampoo, face wash, lotion, razors, shower caps, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. In the basement level, there's shops and a 7-11 which was great for reloading our ICOCA cards. They also have restaurants and 24/7 room service. Rhiga also offered free shuttle service to Universal Studios, (you have to RSVP for this. We took the first one out at 730a. There are other times you could pick from.) Overall, great experience!

At rhiga royal, expect to get royal treatment. They have beautiful staff and they treat you really well. Its located in quite upscale locality. Room and amenities are very modern. Only problem we found was room size, itâs just too small to trigger claustrophobia. Am taking out 2 stars just for room size. Please check room size before booking, if you could getting decent room size Rhiga royal is excellent option.

Stayed 3 nights in a twin room on the Natural comfort floor for 2 adults and 2 child. Room was spacious and clean. Extensive supply of toiletries - amazing to see what you can find in the box.
Shuttle service to station was key for us to minimise walking and lugging the luggage. High frequency of the shuttle service made our trip a very pleasant one.
Only wish was for the pillows to be more firm - the flat pillows had to be stacked for a more comfortable sleep.
