This was my first time to stay at the hotel. It is located in Bukit Tinggi and it just a five minutes walking distance to jam gadang and pasar atas. I forget what was my room type but it was comfortable room with mountain view balcony. I spent my night in the balcony because the weather was cool. Bukit Tinggi which means high land has cool weather. At the breakfast time, the restaurant also served traditional minang food such as ketupat gulai paku, lupis cake but it vary each day.

The Rocky Plaza Hotel is a cool hotel. Breakfast was splendid and the restaurant can cook up a storm. Staff are friendly and helpful and the housekeeping staff never disappoint by giving me clean and fresh towels every day without fail. The pool is also a feature of this hotel. It is one of my favourite places after a long day out cycling. Love this hotel and I will be back for sure.

The pillow Smells like saliva, and they almost charged me Rp .100.000,00 because i don't clean my food after i ate it what? And the room boy was rude ,this not about the money this is about the rule that i never sign before ,Ridiculous, this will be myfirst and my last

Book for twin room (1 night only), reception counter staff very good. Breakfast was delicious and many choice. Room was clean and this hotel have mini bar with live band. This hotel have pool, and market.

My friend and I stayed one night, twice. We really enjoyed our stay both times!
The room was clean--towels even smelled fresh. The restaurant has really good food! We tried several dishes during our stay and they all were more than satisfying. The free breakfast in the morning made the stay all the more better! Lots to choose from at the breakfast buffet...from more traditional Indonesian dishes, to more western options, like omelets and cereal. The coffee is also good, which was a plus for me :)
Also the staff is really friendly and helpful!
Highly recommend this hotel for a more luxury experience at a very reasonable price--as the rooms are large and the delicious breakfast is complimentary.
