these apartments are pretty high class standards. little expensive.
huge beds. lounge dining and kitchen area. very safe. just 2 min walk Oxford Street Accra.
nice breakfast freshly cooked eggs etc.
extremely pleasant and helpful staff.

Roots Apartment Hotel is a perfect spot if you like being right in the middle of it all. The Osu area (Oxford Street) is quite the busy part of town and is alive every day and night. The hotel is in walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the variety of restaurants to choose from is outstanding. If you like to shop, there is plenty of opportunities in the area for that as well.
The hotel's restaurant is excellent. I recommend the grouper. It is fantastic. Breakfast was very good as well. Plenty of local options to choose from.
Customer service at Roots is outstanding and the staff remember you and will ensure your stay is comfortable. The restaurant staff even knew that I loved ordering the grouper and would await my call and have it ready to go!
The rooms were nice. I had a kitchenette and a sofa. It was nice. My only issue was the beds were extremely hard. Now if you like that type of firm bed, then you should be fine. But it was just a bit too firm for me. I suggest you take a bed cover or something like that if you need to soften it up a bit. But other than that, the rooms were spacious, bathrooms were great, and everything was clean and just perfect.
I would recommend this hotel and hope to stay in the future.

Nice rooms but unfortunately 3 out of 9 days no water was flowing due to defect water pump. After multiple calls water supply was fixed after 3 hours but same issue on next day again... Furthermore, extremely loud on weekends due to rooftop bar. Average breakfast not worth the price. There are better AirBnB options in Accra.

Pros:
Booked online with no issues; asked for early check-in...again no issues; food was a bit pricey, but tasted very good; decent, comfortable rooms & very pleasant staff.
Cons;
Rather limited parking as the car park can not accommodate more than 10 cars
didnt get the chance to see the whole hotel, but from what i saw, i was pleasantly inpressed

This is a centrally located hotel, perfect for the commercial area and business visits. There was a mix up with my booking & I did not get a balcony first night, however, I was moved 2nd night and the reception staff could not have been more helpful. Also there was a private party in the roof top bar 1st night making it inaccessible to us, which was a disappointment.
Such things are sometimes unavoidable, the response of the staff is so often key to the experience. In this case they were suitably apologetic and beyond helpful, even providing a complimentary late cjeck out to compensate - which had they not offered I'd have asked for :)
