Great Location for the Rugby

We have just spent a 2 night stay here, mainly for the rugby which is only a few minutes walk away. Found the location of the Rosalie ideal as it was only a 10 minute walk to the town centre plus 5-10 minute walk to the sea front. The owner is very friendly and helpful all the time. We had a double room with en-suite. The room was quite small but fine for a short stay. Breakfast was self service for cereals etc and you ordered the cooked breakfast from a sandwich to a full English, all was very good. Parking is on the main road, we had no problems with this.
Hospitality at its best

I am late posting this review but didn't want to miss out on saying that Staying at Rosalie's was a treat. Liz greeted us very warmly on our arrival and made sure we were comfortable. She made some great suggestions on where to go for dinner and directions around town. In the morning, our English breakfast was superb. When we went out the next day our rented car would not start and in order that we not loose a day of our vacation Liz offered to be the "go to" person should a mechanic need to come. Hospitality does not get better than that. In the end it was a simple fix and it was not needed but not only is Rosalie's a fine B&B but way above expectations. Room and bed were very comfortable too! Thanks for everything.
Felt just like home

Me, my Mum and my Uncle visited this wonderful establishment only last week but the memories will live long after. Liz's service was exceptional - she couldn't do enough for us. No question was too much and none went unanswered. As soon as we arrived she pointed out several landmarks and restaurants, informed us of the quickest route to town and also provided us with the local bus timetable. We all felt very welcome in her home. She invited us to order a takeaway and have it in the dining room - which we felt was a lovely touch. The attention to detail throughout the property also helped us settle rather quickly in our stay - especially the miniature LED light outside the door (which came in handy after a few too many at the local pub!). And let me not forget the breakfast! A well sized and clean breakfast - a fantastic start to our adventures throughout Cornwall. Liz genuinely wanted us to have a great time and it is this desire to put her guests needs above her own which makes this a very special place indeed. We will DEFINITELY be back!
Practical in Penzance

The long established Rosalie sits equidistant between the seafront and town, 10 minutes walk to either, and down a relatively quiet street with parking available.
We arrived late and were welcomed with a brief tour and continuous hospitality throughout our stay.
Our room was in the attic and although practically designed, didn't offer provide terribly effective sound-proofing or black-out blinds to aid sleep through the shorter nights. The shower also never really crept above tepid for me, however all very clean and tidy.
The breakfast was good, with a strong selection of options to choose from aside from traditional English.
Nice place

Very comfortable, very welcoming. To me seemed a little over priced but could not fault the room or breakfast. Parking was available. Owners couldn't do enough for us-very nice and would recommend to everyone.
