We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Hampi ruins, lovely rooms good size with all required amenities, the best thing about this hotel was the staff who were all , friendly and eager to engage and offer help and assistance. The pool was a good size but lacking in sun beds, only 3 !!! For a hotel this size wasnât good. Breakfast offered a good selection and is as good as any where else Iâve had had, also due to an early departure 6am a pack up breakfast was offered an ready for our departure.

A few minutes from the railway station and about half an hour from Hampi, this is a huge property, almost always buzzing with guests.
The staff are very cordial and helpful.
There is a swimming pool too and a seating area around it, a nice place for an evening cup of tea.
The rooms are largely well organized. Overall the cleaning could be upped a bit. At times there seemed to be a shortage of towels as the requisite number per room were not placed in the bathrooms. The bathroom woodwork could do with a tad of polish as it was rather shabby. So overall maintenance could be looked into.
The food by and large was good and tasty. A greater change in menu variety would be a welcome, especially for guests who stay for a longer time, especially as there are no restaurant options in the area.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Have to say that this place is one of the very few hotels that is convenient for families who plan to travel to Hampi. Rooms are clean and the buffet spread (had only breakfast) was noteworthy. Overall, recommend it for its good service and affordability.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Hampi and want to stay in Hospet. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all the times, the rooms were decent though there is a chance of improvement like our room bathroom had a tap leaking water.
The breakfast buffet had a good spread and and food was also good. So in short if you are visiting Hospet or Hampi, Royal Orchid can definitely be a place to stay.

were surprised to note the reply from Hotel that there ice making machine was not working and as such they could cannot give ice to us for all the three days of our stay a nice reply from the hotel staff that they are helpless and not in a position even to arrange from outside a unacceptable reply from four star property.
good not up to mark Rooms were not up to mark and Towel were of very bad quality
overall all bad experience.
not recommended.
