Ok for Business Trip

The environment is very quiet. Good place especially for those who are on business trip. Wi fi is available in the room. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and food was delicious; the cucumber juice was refreshing.
Good small hotel!

Very good hotel and big room also, if u're bored with a business hotel you should come to this hotel. You'll feel at home, toiletries also complete and they had hairdryer in the bathroom. But the room service sometimes not available, we order food at night and the said the chef was on holiday.
Nice enough place in Padang

I stayed here for over a month while on a work trip to Padang. I found it to be very clean and comfortable, with more English TV channels than I would have expected in Padang! Nice bed and shower too. The staff spoke enough English and were always very kind. I thought the food was pretty good, though of course it is expensive for what you can get in a regular restaurant. There was no breakfast buffet, I just had them make me scrambled eggs and toast in the morning because I didn't know what else to ask for! My room didn't have a minibar, which I would have liked but I guess I could have just asked for one. No alcohol, FYI. The internet was really not great in the room, and I think this could easily be improved. You could get a good connection down in the lobby, but it is open air with lots of mosquitoes in the evening. I was there in May so it was super hot, too.
My room was perfectly quiet in terms of street noise and call to prayer and there was even a little fountain below my window, so that was a nice sound! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. The biggest downside for me in staying there for so long was that there aren't that many places to eat in the area, so I ended up staying in a lot, or walking down towards the main road (towards the beach) and catching an angkot down town. I really recommend just trying an angkot-- all of the ones I got on seemed to just run north/south on that road, so you can just look out the window to see where you want to hop out. 2000rupiah sure beats 100,000 for a taxi! Overall Padang is not touristy at all but it's very relaxed and I found everyone to be very friendly and patient with me.
Not all it seems

We stayed here for 1 night enroute to KL, at first the room seems ok but on closer inspection the rug is stained, the sheets although fresh have stains on them! The freebies in the bathroom look like they had been there for ages. As this hotel is not really in walking distance to many eateries we went to the restuarant only to be told the cook had gone home (this was at 7 pm) I dont usually write bad reveiws but for the price this hotel charges they need to get their act together!!
Too poor breakfast!
