Our tour operator had booked us in here and, on arrival, it looked promising. Once we got to our room, however, we found it dark and depressing - and, even more importantly, not very clean and with a peculiar smell. The shower floor had something that looked like mold that came up when we ran a finger across it. The towels and sheets were threadbare and the sheets had holes in them. Since it was raining outside and we couldn't imagine spending any time in this room, we checked out and moved to another hotel. Staff were very nice and apologetic - and offered to clean the room, but that wouldn't have solved the problem.

Stayed in Solo for 2 days because We had two marriages to attend in solo. Checked out this place on TripAdvisor. Pictures were close to reality.
Location was a walking distance to Paragon Mall where food was easy to find. Download Gojek Application and deliver via Go food if you don't want to go out.
We arrived here late at 22.30. Cek in was easy, they already prepared an iron due to my request by phone. we got room 2I with a weird small 'window/ for air circulation facing to the front of the property,.and two small circle windows near the bed, which also seemed quite weird. (don't know their function).many noises from people outside ( perhaps night shift RONDA, Street vendors not to mention nextdoor giggling were quite obvious. Yet, we were too tired to care or even change rooms.
Property was dated and needed to be updated. But it was clean enough. hot water worked nice. Love love the green lushes plants that were grown surrounding the property.
We actually had a little time to enjoy the place, morning on our check out
Turned out there was a set of gamelan at the common room and lots of spots for picture shooting ð.
This place was opened by Mr Joko widodo when he was the major of the city. Makes sense since it felt like a small forest in the middle of the city.
Staff was nice. Overall this place was OK. Maybe taking a higher type of room would be better if you want to enjoy the property.

The place was nicer in the photos when we booked via airbnb. But in reality it's a bit old and need maintenance, it was okay for family with toddler, but must watched our son around because many areas in the 2nd floor is not safe. But in general we have good stay there, location great walking distance to Paragon Mal Solo and easy to find becak/tricycle transport there. We needed the mal to bring our son to playground, Staffs are friendly and really given a homie vibes. So can try if you are not looking something fancy.

very homey hotel with very affordable price.
i love the design, small, down to earth and very humble design especially the wooden floor and bathroom area.
helpful and nice staff
located within 10 mins walking distance to paragon mall.
don't forget to try their partner for massage in your room.

This place was good value for a one-night stay in Solo (Surakarta). Good location, nice breakfast, air conditioning, wifi, parking, helpful staff, very close to mall, walk to batik district. Very interesting design.
