Small bedroom and poor shower (you can't stand upright under it as the head is too low), but everything clean and all staff very pleasant and helpful. Unremarkable breakfast, but be aware, "pet friendly" does not mean that dogs are allowed in the dining room - Spanish law forbids this. Luckily we had good weather and were able to eat outside in nearby restaurants, although a late dinner required a very friendly restaurant prepared to overlook an unexpected guest...

A very nice place.
Gives you the feeling that the time stopped there 50 years ago...
Rooms are small but clean and nice.
It's very peaceful there and the olace has free wifi and parking.
Breakfast was very basic, too basic...
Nothing fancy was expected, but still some more products would give the guests a better feeling.
The staff is very nice and the people there are friendly and speak English very well.
I loved the place !

Beautiful grounds, lovely clean rooms, professional staff. We could not have asked for a better place to spend a night. We wanted to stay longer! Our dogs we in love with the Huge beautiful grounds. We were, too! Be sure to stay for the delicious hot breakfast. It was better than the parador where we stayed the next night. Really!

Although the location is not the most convenient to town center, this is a great place to stay. It has the look of an historic resort, but has been well modernized. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful with answering questions. As the restaurant would not open before we got an early morning start on the Camino, they arranged for the overnight receptionist to serve us toast, coffee and juice at 6:00 a.m. Also, because of the distance from town center, we took what we thought was a shortcut to the hotel, only to realize there was no access. However, I got the gardener's attention, who unlocked the gate and walked us to the front.

This is a place where they have weddings and events, so the grounds are incredibly beautiful. The room was very comfortable and clean and well appointed. The shower was amazing, although a bit difficult for me to operate. (There were sprays from all directions but with more than one night there, I'm sure I would have figured it out.) The food at the restaurant was good and the staff were wonderful - so helpful and nice, even bringing us a snack to go with our glasses of wine when we arrived.
While the hotel was a bit off the Camino and out of town, it would have been an easy walk. We found no reason to leave as the food and accommodations were great.
