It used to be the best hotel in Haldwani.. but now it's just average hotel
Pros :
Rooms are very spacious
Room service is quick
Location is wonderful
Staff is wonderful and very quick.
Cons :
Bathrooms are very small ( very very small)
Thin walls , you can hear tiniest noise in the lobby .
Below average amenities in room ( no dental kit, no hair dryer, no iron in room ) we got it after we call house keeping , but it should be there in room.
We reached on 11 January, which is winters and it was too cold and they did not have hot water . We have to wait 30 minutes and water was given in buckets .( Not expected from a four star hotel).
Fitness centre is not there, I asked about it and i was told that it's entry is from outside the hotel and you have to pay extra for that.
Small and noisy lift.

We started our drive from Gurugram to Nainital at about 11AM. Due to 'Kavad Yatra' congestion we were able to make it only till Haldwani by 8PM. A quick search on Tripadvisor and we locked on Google maps for Saurabh Candy.
Approach : Its overlooking the main road but you have to enter the lane for the main gate. Parking is ample but in season it can be an issue.
Booking: I recommend get the booking done through OYO. We got the same room for at least â¹ 500 less than final tariff asked by hotel.
Ambience : We got a room on second floor
They must have worked a lot in beginning to have plantation on second (and probably third) floor. Gives an artsy earthy feeling.
Room: Room was clean and plush for â¹2400 we paid.
Room Service & Food: Service was prompt and the noodles served were also well prepared. Breakfast was also okish.
Safety: Though the hotel was sparsely occupied we had a safe vibe all throughout. A young girl checked in the morning while i was walking my kid near reception. Seemed generally safe. But better take all the precautions.
Overall: it was a good stay. They need to work a little on the 'Stargazers Gallery', the rooftop which opens up from 2nd floor.
Might be one of the best places in Haldwani to stay.

it is topmost hotel of haldwani ample parking space good interior with restaurant and bar
the food is awesome located at national highway 109 previously it was 87 nainital is only 37 km from here ideal to stay on foothills

Location of this hotel is good for local purpose. This hotel is situated at Kathgodam Road. This road is a walk road where you may go for shopping as well. Ambiance of the rooms is very good. Hotel is having all the services.

Saurabh candy was a pleasant surprise . I didnt have much hopes while travelling to a small town . But the hotel is nice . excellent banqueting facilities , good rooms and nice food . about 30 mins from pantnagar airport and 10 mins from kathgodam station . good choice .
