Spent 6 nights here. Rooms are large and equipped with all you need from kitchen to laundry.
They have a balcony with views to the lake which capture the afternoon sun.
The only odd thing about the place is the layout of getting to your room. It is set up into 3x different wings, each wing requiring a different access point however once established the concept isn't all that bad. Handy to town and the pubs, booking sites or grocery shop.
Hell yeah, I'd stay here again!

Nice location. Close to town. Walking distance. But not too close where it can be a noisy party
Seems like most of the rooms have great direct views of the lake. Guessing those reviews get more stars
My room is in back and although 3 floor partial view of lake and air conditioners on roof
Weird layout. All rooms in the three buildings in back are two rooms together very noisy connecting door that slams really loud when guests enter
And to navigate to room you go to Libby
Walk to back
Take elevator to first floor
Walk outside
Take another elevator to second floor
And then either walk stairs or walk down hallway again to another elevator
Hallways need paint job and decoration
Looks like weird Hospital
Service is very nice. Front desk and the cleaning services
Not cheap but big rooms. Guessing itâs the suite thing that gets them higher star reviews
Need to update and rethink navigation and the connecting door thing. At the very least put new springs on the main door so it doesnât slam every time

We stayed at two spots in Queenstown - the scenic suites and the oaks. No doubt I would return to scenic suites. The value for the money makes it a no brainer. My husband and I felt when we booked that it was critical to be within walking distance of downtown. After being in Queenstown for 5+ days - we believe this is even more important. The scenic suites is extremely close to everything you would want to do making a car completely unnecessary (especially since many of the activities have their own transportation to locations outside of town). Note: there is a steep hill leading up from town. The suite also includes a washer and dryer which was more important than we thought with the changing weather of New Zealand. The room also has a ton of space to make us feel like we could truly relax.

Stayed there for 5 nights. We had a large room. Bedroom was separate from living and dining room space and large kitchenette. Bathroom also spacious with separate tub and shower. We had nice view from the balcony. Needed a bit better cleaning. Perfect location, easy walk to all the shops/restaurants and activities in Queenstown.

Overall, wonderful country to visit. Started on North Island in Queenstown, took boat ride on the sounds and walked to gardens from our Hotel. Walked back to hotel from town all up hill. Should have taken cap.
