On our already wonderful journey through Rajasthan, today we had several unbeatable moments. Shahpura Bagh not only offers very comfortable accomodation, but exquisite cuisine and world-class, tailor-made and personalized excursions. Every single member of the staff made us feel at home. Excellent!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. The suite we had was lovely and spacious. We spent some of our day by the heated pool, which was a great place to relax under one of the cabanas. It was really nice to walk around the grounds and farmland after breakfast or before dinner (about 1 mile easy walk). There are bicycles available too.
We didn't get a chance to go in to the nearby village other than to see the temple for a short while during our sun-downer fort visit - we will be sure to do that on the next visit!
Dinner both evenings was excellent. Service was always pleasant and helpful. One evening we went with a few of the other guests to the hill fort some 20 mins away for drinks at sun-down. It was a great evening, chatting to other guests and seeing the fort.
Wish we had one more day there!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Shahpura Bagh. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Hot water bottles were put in our beds at night. Staff were helpful and attentive. The meals were delicious. We enjoyed an interesting conversation with the owner about the history of his family and the house. We felt very welcome in the hotel and would recommend it highly.

Shahpura is a luxurious homestay that is perfect for anyone who is looking at pure relaxation in a simple yet stunning property. It's modern and stylish yet there is an old world charm that instantly takes you away from gadgets and city life and makes you want to soak in the place. It's a birds paradise and endless green spaces to walk and get lost in with a book.
The family that owns it adds a personal touch to your stay and floors you with their emblematic Rajasthani hospitality.
We really look forward to visiting Shahpura again.

We had a stopover for one night. The room was fine, the pool was fine and dinner was fine. But I did not find the place a happy place. It missed ambiance, color, happy faces. All these things I see in other places. Also I found 2200inr for dinner in this case really overpriced. Sure it was decent but the price really was too much to ask.
I would not go back!!
