During our visit to Pondicherry, we came across shenbaga. Stayed there for 3 days, the hotel was pretty decent. Centrally located which is an advantage.food was also okay. The service is excellent. They have a roof top pool.

The hotel is located at good location and rooms are spacious with all basic amenities .
Little improvements can make this hotel better are like food quality at restaurant.
Overall nice place to stay in Pondicherry . Enjoy traveling

It's really a wonderful and good hotel to stay in Pondicherry. Even their hospitality and service is very good. We enjoyed the stay and the breakfast in the hotel. Every staff are really helpful in everything. I would recommend to everyone.

Well to start with the review i went through the travel sites before booking. Went through the pictures as well and we opted for Majesty Room which cost us Rs.4000/night. The room firstly given to us was different from the room we saw, had asked for a change for which we had to wait for a night, the next day got changed. A huge plus point is its location, nearby to all places be it ashram or the beach. Food was good but nothing extraordinary. Buffet is served from 7am to 10am, post 10:00AM they will start making you uncomfortable by switching off the lights and TV and they will draw the curtains considering the part that there were many many of us still having breakfast. Buffet gets closed immediately by 10:10am which is ok. Staff is good and helpful, Mr.Nivesh Limbu helped us with every problem we faced. We had our 20 month old baby with us so we ordered for baby food as well which was rightly served.
Overall it was just okay, nothing exceptional.
My star rating would 3.5.
A piece of advice would be to try out villas or guest houses.

As was like my previous visit, I was very much taken by this hotel. Especially, when it comes to hospitality and customer service, the Shenbaga team is doing a great job. It will always be in my souvenir.
