One of the beautiful and astonishing property to visit. The view of the river site from this cottage is fabulous with excellent hospitality. The cottage is in amidst of nature and gave me a pleasant feeling and I was completely relaxed while returning back to Delhi.

Mr SHipley the host will more or less make all arrangements for you in this nice quiet place perched on top of a hill surrounded by green hills and spots.
1. Do take a walk to Bishtgaon which will take you through the SAL forests
2. Do take a walk to Robbers Cave
3. You can also dine in a nearby Riverside restraunt
It was an amazing experience and i wish the caretaker and Mr SHipley all the best.

My wife and I spent 5 days at Shinura end April-early May. Found the location great with excellent views of Mussoorie and hills around. Owner cum manager, Mr. Shipley was very pleasant and helpful - keen to do whatever possible to make guests happy. Accommodation quality average, but could be much better with a few additions / changes. The suggestions made by us to make the place more comfortable were happily accepted. We have since been informed that almost all have been implemented. Staff quite helpful and pleasant. Overall a small but homely place. If you are looking for luxury, look somewhere else; but if location, view and serenity with basic comforts is a priority, this is the place.

Property is basic so dont expect any luxuries. Have 03 rooms and makes sense if one party books all three rooms, this will mean that whole property is with you and no other guests. Rooms are clean and Mr Shipley and his staff try their best to make your stay comfortable. Food is not that great but if you looking for a place in the lap of the nature, want to spend sometime in peace and calm, this is the place. For us it served the purpose as we were looking for somewhere where there are not 100 other persons having breakfast with you or a big hotel..

What to expect:
1] Peace and Tranquility from the daily and Hustle & bustle of city life
2] Nature living - Green valley around with sound of river flowing below
3] Homely environment - just three rooms - hence away from the crowd.
If you book all three, its all yours !!
4] Good homely food
5] Above all - excellent host in Shri Shipley
Place is not for the ones who:
1] like well furnished hotel like rooms / amenities - Family room is big n excellent. Rest two are decent.
2] do not like few ants / insects etc. [part of nature living] sharing their room.
3] do not have their own vehicle to move around - or are not ready to pay high cost for conveyance
