Lovely B&B, the hosts are very nice, the location is good if you have your own transportation. You quickly find out why it's called shire, just look at the towns around it. The only reason to not give 5 stars is the noise coming from the toilet after flushing.

I stayed one night in this bed and breakfast booking it as it is publicized as a a B&B and SPA.
I must say that the price for one night was cheap and obviously this is a plus.
The place is in a residential area and from outside looks as one of the ordinary houses of the zone.
The SPA was available but needed to be âstarted upâ as it was off but no massage was available (??). In the booking website no mention of dates or hours of non availability.
When we arrived it was 3 oâclock in the afternoon so me said to the owner that we were disappointed of this as we specifically booked the place because of the SPA, as we were traveling by bike.
He offered some of the services as steam room and infra-red (prices expensive) but asked us to let him know at least half hour in advance.
Once we settled in, we went back to reception to ask at least for steam-room but nobody was there any more!
As per the rooms, a micro-room was given to us for three beds (one of which we had to open and make up our selves otherwise it would have been impossible to move around).
There were wider bedrooms but apaently the B&B was fully booked: now, we arrived mid August and booked through Venere.com in May...possibly the assignment of a decent room for 3 adults could have been possible.
The worse thing was the bathroom that did not have a shower but the whole bathroom turned into a shower. This would have been anoing on itâs self but the bad part was that the showerâs drain did not work so if one took a long shower the room would flood.

The breakfast was ok but I would suggest to stay completely off coffeeâ¦. terrible.
I would rather pay something more but get the services promised and a decent room and shower.

Nice and friendly hosts. The shared bathroom is the best I have ever seen in a B&B. Breakfast very good. Overall a very nice place to stay. Wi-Fi not very reliable when you stay in the attic. Attic too hot in the summer.

House is situated in the centre of Wervershoof, just over 20 minutesâ drive from Hoorn. Great opportunity when you cant find a cheep hotel in Hoorn. Our room included a minibar and cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities. A breakfast was very good, with fresh bread, coffee, milk, ham, cheese and whatever you want. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help.
We had in our room Wi-Fi. Parking is free.
We had a great time. Thank you very much..
