We came here in September but did not appreciate just how GOOD the Snorkling was. Can just dive of betty and feel.like you are in an aquarium. Worth investing in a good underwater camera. I was so disappointed with my filming when I got home. (Unable to watch on camera) also did a guided trip out to island. The young guide was brilliant. Had a couple of other guides in other arears but no comparison to the staff at their drive place. All staff were SO amazing and friendly.
My only disappointment was the interaction from other guests. NO one spoke or even made eye contact. So defiantly a place to enjoy the company you are with.
Amazing nature all around.

Most enjoyable stay. Quiet relaxing I imagine how Bali was 40 years ago. If youâre expecting crowds and nightlife donât come if you want a time away from your work a time to reflect come you will not be disappointed

My second visit to this beautiful location within the West Bali National Park. Only accessable by a 20 minute boat ride. The usual hotel amenities of restaurant, spa, pool and recreational activities are excellent. I was able to spend much of my time exploring the wildlife within the grounds of the hotel. One morning I volunteered to help clean up the litter on the beaches of Menjangan Island, which the staff do once every week. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and experienced. The goal of the Hotel is to blend into the Park and disturb it as little as possible, which it does very well. They have a breeding display of the rare Jalak Bali or Bali Myna and a resident group of the shy, bashful Black Leaf-eating Monkeys. A definite destination when I return to when I return to Bali.

We are so happy to find this resort. Far from noise, eco friendly and we can mingle with nature very well but still can relax and enjoy the luxury of the resort.
Love the hospitality of the staff too.
Book the villa when you are here with family, it's worthed and gives you a private beach.
The bed and pillows are so comfy, but it was so hot when we came even the aircon was not felt cold enough.
Snorkling around the jetty gives you wonderful view and we love to see the deer and monkey running around the compound.
Trekking is not recommended, since nothing much to see and it's so hot during the day.
But we feel lucky to find this gem.
Highly recommended.

I came to Bali to escape the cancer that has infected my country this past year. Seeing Kuta through the car window, my choice of this hotel was confirmed as best for me. After the boat landed, I was greeted by staff and had a quick supper even though it was after 9pm. My room and the grounds were well cared for and the deer were right on the beach. What a joy to see first morning. Other reviews mention trash on the beach but since the volcano cut tourism, I was alone there and the beach was fine. I went out for a snorkel trip to the island with two divers who were getting certified. The first spot we anchored did have a lot of trash in the water so I just grabbed the first floating bag and leisurely started gathering. When it was stuffed, I just reached for another and continued. My snorkel partner followed my lead and together we managed to fill many bags. The second spot was pristine and my full focus was on the wonder below me. I have been snorkeling for years in many places and finally get to see healthy, beautiful clams again. Finally! Although my stay was short, it was just what I needed to start my stay in Bali with a calm and hopeful heart.
