Was very dissapointed with the service for this hotel ,arrived at 3o clock to no reception ,just a note on door to say to pick up keys at hotel 10 mins drive away ,when got there in a taxi ,had to pay e100 deposit and 7e each adult for city tax which i never heard of before ,then told the room wont be ready until after 5 ,and highlighted that you have to take your own rubbish out ,reception at this hotel was niether helpful or nice ,when got to the apartment ,there is no restauant are bar ,all closed down ,also when got to the pool no loungers to sit on just the grass thats full of ants ,this is not a apartment complex for a family holiday ,this is just a residental complex ,would not reccomend this for familys

I returned from a 4 night stay on 05/07/16. Firstly, a deposit of 100 euro is required for all bookings. Reception is only open at certain times and there is only 1 man working here. Our apartment was very spacious but very basic and old fashioned. We had no hot water and when we advised the man on reception he simply said 'ok' but never came to fix it! We had no air conditioning, did not receive clean towels during our stay, no maid service and my husband had to go to the local supermarket to buy toilet roll! Restaurant and bar at the hotel have closed down and its a good 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket! Hotel is very isolated! No atmosphere whatsoever and very few people about- even at the pool! Local bars/restaurants are even further! (Smugglers Inn was probably the best of all them for food!) The only positive thing I could say about these apartments is that they are spacious! Other than that avoid avoid avoid!

Just back from a weeks holidays I would not stay here again. Reception is not open full time & closed on Wednesday so if arriving on a Wednesday which we did late at night you need to pick keys up in another hotel which was never told only found out by reading reviews on this that I found out so was able to sort my key pick up before we left other wise you be left outside not knowing what to do. Not once during the week did we even get a fresh towel never mind someone to clean up. Their is no WiFi not all available. The man in reception is no help what so ever should not even be their. Their was a lovely couple who lives their came out to help us find our apartment the name is not over reception so found it hard at night. It is a bit out off the way so would need to use the really good bus service to get in & out. Salou itself is a really lovel place but people really need to stay away from these apartments. Also â¬100 will be asked from you for a deposit which was never told about either & another â¬6 for insurance??
Pleasant Stay during April

If you are looking for a vibrant action packed holiday then this is not for you!
Stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet, note the local reception office is only open part time so I recommend checking opening hours in advance! That said, the local bus service is excellent, recommend purchasing a 10 trip card, initial price 15 euro then top up of 10 trips only 12 euro. The apartment was clean, towels provided at start of week but no maid service during visit. Facilities included TV, Fridge freezer cooker microwave and washing machine. Based on my expectations I enjoyed my stay and was pleased not to have experienced the misfortune of other fellow travellers.
