Not worth the cost at all

Located conveniently near Mysore suburb bus stand yet not on a busy main road , it has nice interiors to welcome you and the receptionists are kind too.The rooms were neatly arranged and good except the signs of wear and tear here and there. But , for us , the positive experience ended here.We ordered food from restaurant and service was not good enough , not serving completely as per our instructions.You are supposed to get 2 water bottles per day and we got it on the first day , but next day when we asked the receptionist about it , they told they will send it and even after two reminders over phone , it was not provided.Even request for an extra bath soap multiple times fell on deaf ears and we managed with a single soap provided. The hotel provides free breakfast and it is worth to be bragged about at all.We felt only bread/jam combination was worth trying (as that was not prepared by them!). And while told about all these experiences , the receptionist was just telling that since it was holiday time , they were busy and might not be able serve better.I mean come on , just manage things better , even if it is rush hour.They dont seem to be make a record of requests and attend them in order , they just listen to your requests and satisfy them later , if they remember it.

Mismanaged hotel in the central location

The rooms are dirty. The stairs are dirty. Food is awe full. The bed sheets look like 100 years old. The glasses kept in the room very dirty. The stairs also dirty. We checked in around 1 pm. Still the room was not ready. And they are charging same as some good managed hotel would provide. The rooms should not cost more than 1000/- including everything. This is the kind of service they provide.

Horribly Bad experience

We are just experiencing a terrible situation at midnight.
We had to change the room 2 times - once at 10.00pm as the bathroom shower was not working.
And now at 12.30 am we had to change the room again, as the AC is not cooling.
We felt cheated when we realised that the hotel manager knew that the AC of room no 219 is not working, but still relocated us in that room.
The proof is a standing fan in that AC room (pic attached).

We selected this hotel for the reason that it has 3 beds and the rooms are big.
But I wish that no one goes through the experience that we are going through now.
We had to sift with our babies right at 12.30 am

Average Hotel to stay within City

This is a good hotel to stay for couple of nights. Located at proper city. If you follow Google MAP then you may get mislead for 1 time but i would suggest to follow google map only because it will ultimately take you to Hotel, its kind of 1 & 1.5 kind of rotation you need to take. You will get Auto infront of Hotel. Within Rs. 50-100 range you will reach to Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church. The hotel has adjacent Restaurant but bill you have to pay separately to restaurant. Food quality is good. Hotel Rooms are good but we didn't like the Bed at all, as it was made of Spring mattress which is very disturbing. The toilet are pretty small and water color is kind of Black. Hot water is not available 24 hours instead its available between 8AM - 10AM in the morning. Hotel boys are cooperative.
I would say this hotel is good if you plan to stay for 1-2 days in Mysore. There is ATM nearby. Most of the places are nearby from this hotel.

Very good hotel with well furnished rooms and good service

It was a very convenient stay at SK continental, it is very near to main bus station and the hotel provides you luxury rooms at affordable prices with good food and service. They will also help you in arranging for your travel requirements at very good price compared to other people in city i inquired, you can rely upon them for anything. Really enjoyed at this SK continental.
