I had been to Gandhnagar for Rubber Show IRE 2017 .Our booking being made at Skylon hotel which is close to exhibition centre mahatma Mandir. I spent 3 nights and was impressed with Room and amneties. Though there is no restaurant nearby, but one can order food and eat.

Booked 2 nights in a non AC room. Hotel is located in the 2nd floor of the building. Lifts are available, so you don't need to go up staircases with your luggage. I was welcomed even though I checked in late night at 9:30 PM. There were no late check in fees.
The room was good enough for 2 people. All necessary toiletries were provided. Food on call was available, though I didn't try it. The menu was quite expensive.
The hotel is located at the extreme edge of the city. Although there was no public transportation system, autos and cab booking services was moderately available. There is also a D-Mart 1 block away. Overall it was good enough as this room was one of the most affordable I could find in Gandhinagar.
Lastly, the WiFi service was not of much use as the speed hovered near about 100 kbps.

I had stay one night at skylon.Very new and well maintain hotel I guess.very Good staff they were supportive.
It's good for families.far away from town.if u have vehicle then it's good otherwise local rickshaw and taxies are very expensive.No access for public transport.
Recommended for families and couples.

One of the worst hotels i'v experienced. Here are the instances which was experienced by me and my guest while stay at the hotel:
1. Very rude and arrogant staff.
2. The check in was in afternoon, we checked in at night with prior reservations but bed linens were not available.
3. Most importantly, the hotel does not have a restaurant. Each time they took minimum 30 minutes for getting the order prepared and delivered.
Needless to say it was delivered in a cold and pathetic state.
AVOID... AVOID.... AVOID... at all costs.

I am happy to visit this hotel as it is located in good area of gandhinagar. Dmart is just op-positive of hotel. so, no need to go anywhere else for any shopping. Mainly, i would like to mention here about price, which is very low. Best for economy class. I am recommending you guys. specially if you are finding good hotel within budget rates. hope, this review will be helpful for you.
