I booked 2 rooms and stayed here for 3 nights.
My first night, I booked the Double Room. And It was so small, but I understand that this size is average size of hotels' room in Tokyo for similar hotel class.
My 2nd and 3rd nights, I booked the Twin Room. The room size is better and quite comfy if you have many luggages.
The bathroom is also small, but can't complain on that.
They make up the room during the day we are out the hotel for sightseeing.
No bottled water provided, but the tap water is drinkable although it has a bit smell of chemical in it.
Location of this hotel is just superb. So close to Kayabacho Subway Station. So it is easy to get anywhere in Tokyo from this station.
We can find Lawson just next door, so for your needs, you can buy almost everything here, including some foods, coffee and tea for breakfast.
All hotel staffs are friendly but their English is very limited.
And don't expect any hotel staffs in the lobby area, you can always see that all the staffs (3-4 persons) are always behind the reception desk.
So never expect any services outside the reception desk, not even for a taxi call or a help with your luggages. You just have to do it all by ourselves.
I asked them to help me call a taxi while me and my family are busy with our luggages and they replied that we can just hail a taxi outside the hotel ourselves.
Overall, it's just a hotel for your sleep. Don't expect anything more. They would just give you a SMILE and ask you to do it by yourselves.
If i'm going to Tokyo again, I would rather try another hotel from other hotel chain group even I don't know would they have better service or not.
It would be nice if the hotel provided a bit of concierge service just to help their guests.

The room is too small. Basically, i think this is the size of most hotel in Japan.
The crew cannot speak and unseratand english though, but sure they help
you in anyway they can.
The location is in the heart of the old shopping district of Tokyo. Outside the hotel is surrounded with restaurants. and it is just a 8min walk to Jr station.

We stayed at the smile hotel for 4 nights, it is ideally central just a few minutes walk from Tokyo station.
I'm quiet area with some nice local restaurants and very close to underground station Nihombashi.
The staff couldn't do enough for us, the hotel is clean and had free internet.
Was exactly what I was looking for.

The room was small but well equipped and very clean! The position of the hotel is excellent: just one minute far from the Mitsukoshimae subway station!
The staff is kind, even if they hardly can speak english. The breakfast is typically japanese and they don't have "western" option. But if you don't want to eat fish for breakfast there are plenty of bars and cafes in the area.

The service was good and friendly. Location wasn't far from some major attractions and train stations.
The room was the smallest and unfortunately we were out on a smoking floor. For a non smoker ever it was bad.
Room service doesn't run some nights so make sure you check.
Other than that it was affordable and did the job for one night!
