Myself and now husband got married in Spain in Sept 2017
I have been to costa del sol every year for the last 30 years, since we were children. We have family living there and it's basically a second home to us
We chose to have our guests stay in the Sol House as it's a really lively hotel with great entertainment and a great vibe to it.
It's really modern and well kept, really clean and the staff are very friendly.
The hotel has been renovated recently although they did seem to cut corners in certain areas which was very obvious and is such a shame!
My only negative to the stay was the lack of interest the hotel had in the fact that this was a very special time for me and my family as I was getting married
There was no help on the morning of the wedding we had a few simple requests for reception and they never helped us out
That said our wedding guests had an absolute blast and they all loved the place and are planning a reunion for 2018!

We stayed there in September 2017 and found out one wing is new, stylish, big rooms etc, the other one is old and need to be renovated (which I was told is going to be soon).
we had a large suite at the new part: room was well experimented with all needed facilities.
service was so so: they did not clean the room well.
breakfast is very big and impressive but kind of gross. not stylish at all for a 5 star hotel.

Hotel great...great location...spacious rooms...excellent food..plenty choice.. struggled to get a sunbed in the sun so went on the beach most days...rather pricey drinks...ask for pool view room then you'll be on the sun side..

Last minute break, well located hotel, close to Marina. Good choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Rooms spacious and clean, would be improved with more wardrobe and drawer storage. Comfortable lounge and bar area. Helpful staff

The hotel has just been refurbished and we were returning for the fourth/fifth time. The bedrooms are very spacious with a separate lounge area which can be blocked off. The bed was a massive 7 foot and very comfortable. We were in block no.3 with lovely views over the pool,the sea and the marina.To top everything off the happy hour was excellent!
