This was our first trip to Somatheeram and by far one of the best holidays, everything from the accommodation to the treatments was excellent. All the staff were very courteous and friendly. A special mention for Krishna Sagar who's in charge of guest relations, he had a very helpful and efficient approach any task was doable for him. The restaurant staff looked after us very graciously. Shameer looked after our diet plan as per the doctors instructions. Vimal and his team were fabulous in hospitality. The yoga instrustor Deepu is very talented in his techniques and supportive towards the learners. We particularly enjoyed the quiet evenings and the musical events every night for dinner. We are looking forward to going back there again. The facility is neat and clean and surrounded by nature.

I didn t stay in this resort but visited yoga classes (as it was rare option to do in in the evening not in the morning). For nonguest of the resort payment at the reception.
It was excellent experience. Although it was quite expensive for class of yoga it worth it - professional trainer, view to the sea from the special yoga terrace.

I travelled a lot, however never felt like sharing my experience regarding destination, food and accommodation as there was nothing different or new, but this time I met this person(KRISHNA SAGAR) an employee of somatheeram, who is actually serving his guest beyond his listed duties and tries to make there stay easy and delightful. the way he handles guests problems is amazing. He makes sure his guests never face any issues during there stay and if in case any issues arises he gives his best to resolve it.
He is polite, gentle and extremely talented in guest handling and I can surly say this ..yes he is the one coz of whom I liked my stay in somatheeram as good staff makes a good property(hotel, resort)...in hotel and service industry good staff plays important role in its success.

I always love this place, treatments are great, yoga course also, food in very healthy. I spent two weeks in October, I had some problems with my booking at the beginning and there have been some misunderstandings but everything has been solved somehow. The general manager (he's a guy, can't remember the name) has been always very supportive and tried his best to accomodate my requests and complains. Staff is very professional, always smiling and helpful. Yoga teachers are super, and doctors are always checking health status and suggest best treatments. Nature around is wild and put you in the perfect mood for relaxation.

I booked at Somatheeram in September for an end of January stay. In November I had to cancel. Despite many many emails and promises that they were issuing a refund they have failed to do so. I also discovered that instead of taking a 30% deposit they had taken 50%. They are dishonest and do not honor their cancellation policy. I have had to report them to American Express to get my money refunded.
