Ami Boutique Hotel has an excellent Roof Top Restaurant that provides panoramic view of Acropolis in Athens. Greek cuisines and various soft & hard drinks are available. Service is very friendly. Food tastes are good.

Everyone is different in their needs and wants from a hotel. For this one, our opinions are, after staying here for 2 weeks while looking for an apartment;
pro-location is just 9 minutes walking to the metro
pro-staff is generally friendly and polite
pro-room design is generally good (exception below)
pro-internet always worked well
con-the bathroom has a shower assembly only (no bath tub) that we have run into in other hotels that have done remodels ... it is circular shaped, looks great, but they are always cumbersome and inadequate
con-breakfast is a 2 edge sword ... when it is 2 people like myself and my wife you can't complain much for 5 euro for both (when done in advance) ... just getting the coffee refills make it worth it ... however, they serve this breakfast on the top of their building, which offers a nice view but it is an extremely cold room and some staff won't put on the heat, so the lukewarm food items get cold instantly and putting hot coffee in a very chilled coffee cup is not good
con-they are also stingy on their heat in the common areas, like the lobby ... admittedly we were probably hotel bound more than their average guest in the cold season doing apartment research on the computer ... it was like a refrigerated meat room in there
con-television for an English speaker is horrible ... very very limited
con-they promoted a restaurant at this hotel but on a very cold cold night when we tried to use it rather than going out they said it was not available ... ???
con-no microwave in the room ... we are not huge eater and brought home good food that just need reheating to enjoy as a snack but no microwave

I loved this hotel, for a boutique hotel, it was very good, the rooms were clean and not stuffy, compared to another hotel we stayed in Ioannina, the toilet was big, TV channels were good as well, and house keeping was on point! Thank you, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the concierge/ receptionist by the name of Christina, she was very helpful in checking out tours and other accommodation at Ioannina for us, we had a lot of questions and she answered all of them with a pleasant smile on her face. She is a valuable asset to the hotel. Thank you for also cancelling another hotel booking which we made at the wrong area of Northern Greece without checking our itinerary. You made our trip in Greece so much more convenient Christina! Thank you for all that! ð see you when we see you! Good day

Stayed at this hotel October this year, it was wonderful.
Friendly staff located very central we walked every where to see all the main sites.
Nice quite part of town.
The first thing I did after checking in was go up to the rooftop resturant to see if the view was like it shown online........ You will not be dissapointed I could have stayed there all day long it was amazing.
We had a B & B booking breakfast was a buffet with a good choice.
The rooms clean, very nice and comfortable. Would difinitely stay here again

My mom and I visited and we had a great time staying at this hotel. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great room on the 5th floor with an amazing view of acropolis. 2 nights we had dinner at the rooftop bar. The food was delicious and the view spectacular. This hotel should be upgraded to a 4 star. Hotel is on a steep hill but we didnât mind the exercise. We walked to the acropolis museum and acropolis. I would definitely stay here again.
