A great hotel, we arrived in Budapest early, so they allowed us to leave the suitcase in the hotel until it will be check-in time. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The service in the hotel was great and everyone was helpful with where exactly is everything. The best part is that it was near the college I planned to go. The metro station is near and buses. So its pretty comfortable to get around. The buffet was good.

Nice place and service, near metro but out of historical center of city. Trolleybus stop. Near park. Two bars and shops in minutes. Real 3*. Lift-elevator. Handy phone service. Buy all-day tickets for group ;)

Very nice hotel! Itâs near to the meterâs stop and not far to the heroesâs square! Itâs fews meters far to Városligetâs Park and Széchenyi Bach. Confortable room and reach breakfast . kindly and friendly staff!

Room was quite big and clean. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast buffet is the same everyday but you have enough options if you are staying for just a couple of days. It was tasty. Neighborhood is quite and safe.
We had a termostat in the room which worked so didn't experience problem with that like mentioned in some reviews.
If you are coming by car, zones are all around the place so make sure that you make yourself familiar with the parking system.

I had a nice experience in Star City hotel. It is close to public transportation with the subway station of Keleti and close enough to the center to go there walking and far enough to avoid the rush and the noisy streets during the night. The neighbourhood is quiet. The rooms are small and not very nicely decorated but the staff is amazing : nice, helpful, and always there. I really keep a great memory of that. The breakfast is really ok for the price. Overall it is a good hotel for its category and it was a part of my very good experience in Budapest! I recommend it.
