Went here to stay for 1 night after a long road trip from malang, got there at 12 and the receptionist (woman) said we had to wait untill 2 pm to checked in, after waiting an hour or so i had to asked again wether we could checked in and the receptionist (now man) said we could... why should we wait an hour idk, and the woman said we couldnt checked in before 2pm, and they saw us waiting there very fatigue, after we checked in we got a room that is so dirty, stain in the blanket, writings on the desk,lamp almost fell off,left over stickers glue in the bed,and the furniture didnt seem new hence the hotel were built 5 years before,the hair dryer didnt stay attached to the wall because it kept falling when i used them,the tv had bad signal we had to call for an engineer to fix it, the ac has a timer it shut down every 4 hours or so we woke up felt hot and nobody turned off the ac we found out it probably used timer, overall it didnt feel like 4 star hotel more like 2.5stars hotel

We stayed here during the christmas holiday and it was full, they try hard to make us comfortable, very much appreciated. Star hotel has 30 floors, they have infinity pool on the 30th floor. With all the guests wanted to swim, so you can imagine how crowded the swimming pool was, not to mention the long queue for the elevator. They only have 3 elevators that will stop in every floor.
The breakfast was nice, many variation to choose, and pretty delicious. Overall I think it's value for money.

Very recomended hotel in Semarang,so close with Java Supermall and and city center,,have clean room with nice furniture and comfort bed and pillow,for breakfast is good with good taste,u can see Semarang city with 360* view from above infinity swimming pool at 30th floor

First of all, the hotel need refurbishment in common areas, such as lobby, gallery, parking lot.
Reception staff is not really helpful. I reserved twin bed and they gave me a double bed. Even though in the end they swap me to correct room, they firstly asked whether I have used the bed (cmon you just gave me the key 2 mins ago). Extra bed is so expensive (Rp 350,000); the room service rarely picked up the phone so the easiest way if you need something is to go to reception desk.
Swimming pool is amazing with good view. But very crowded as they open it for public as well.
Overall not really a pleasant stay for me.

The hotel easily located from main road but if you are from opposite direction kinda tricky to access the hotel, the room not to big but the cleanliness is just average, hotel parking lot is limited but they offering valet. One thing that outstanding from this hotel is the rooftop swimming pool on the top of this hotel, nice view from the top, really nice, you can also seat back and have a cup of coffee from the resto there
