Stayed here for five nights. It is a comfortable and very clean hotel situated in a central location, near Grafton Street and opposite St Stephens Green. The hotel staff are particularly helpful and cheerful, none more so than the breakfast staff. The breakfast is plentiful and well presented. My only negative comment is that the hotel does not have an elevator which is only a problem if you happen not to be fit and to be allocated a room higher up ( there are three floors including the ground floor though I think that there is also accommodation in the basement). Also there is no parking at the hotel and the cost of parking at the nearby multi-storey is not cheap, even with the discount which the hotel has there. The hotel fronts a relatively busy street so it is advisable to seek a room facing the back which is quiet.

2nd time staying at this hotel and I would definitely recommend and will return. The most friendly of staff and rooms well appointed. Really nothing negative. Breakfast was spot on, nothing to fault. A little Gem in Dublin City.

Excellent hotel for solo travellers in a quiet and safe area near Gaiety Theatre and St Stephenâs Green. Has been refurbished since my last visit, and it looks great! Got a beautiful room with view of St Stephens Green. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

In all honesty, this wasn't the hotel I initially wanted on researching for our trip to Dublin. On doing my research I thought The Shelbourne would fit the bill perfectly. However, by the time I got around to booking, it was more than I felt comfortable paying for 2 nights.
I am SO PLEASED however, as I otherwise wouldn't have booked this wonderful hotel, such a great find!
We arrived at around 9pm after using the airbus 757 that stopped just a 5 minute walk away. We were very quickly checked in and told we had been upgraded from a Deluxe to a Superior room, which was such a lovely touch. The room was absolutely beautiful, and huge! Three gorgeous huge windows, and a separate seating area. The bed was comfortable and the duvet...oh wow. I want one for my bed now! Pure luxury.
Staunton's has all the fixings of a 5 star hotel. Its the little touches, the complementary toiletries were actually nice...which is rare! The tasty biscuits with the tea and coffee, and the bottles of water, which were all replaced in the day. A little thing, but very appreciated.
We also loved the complimentary infused water downstairs, such a thoughtful touch.
The location was perfect for us. Close enough to walk everywhere but far away enough that your not completely in the thick of the noise.
The only negative I can really think of is the bathroom in our room, the sink was a compact one, so very hard to wash in, but having read a review further down I think it will be being sorted. Didn't really impact our stay in any way though, just a minor thing!
Every member of staff that we met were helpful and friendly. Truly a great hotel, Thank you for such a great stay. Found it hard to tear ourselves away on check out and will 100% recommend to anyone coming to Dublin!

My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night. The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly at every turn. The room was amazing, very fitting for the occasion. Breakfast was excellent too, can't think of any faults!
