Located at a comfortable distance from the lake, proper direction boards given. Staffs were very courteous. We had stayed in a 2 BR room, good room with good ambiance. The hotel had organised evening activities along wt bon fire,the Observatory telescope was broken, the children play are was good. In short a good hotel to stay with family...

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite. The hotel is good in all respects - comfortable, good ambience, good food and service, games room and activities for kids. Some of the staff in the bar and restaurant is excellent. Buffet meals are good, not very lavish though. The rooms on 1st floor are better than the ones on 2nd floor. On the first night we stayed in 427 and there was a horrible mold/mildew kinda smell. We shifted to 327 and found it to be much better. The approach road to the hotel is very bad towards the last 1 km. The day we reached the road was being fixed. We were stopped just about a km before the hotel and despite calls to the front desk, we were guided wrongly, ended up going to an alternate route which was practically non-existent, and got stuck for almost 2 hours. A more pro-active help from the hotel could have saved us this unnecessary torture. I was quite upset about it and told them so. To the hotel's credit, the next day I saw that they had their staff posted at the road diversions to guide the guests. All in all, a good place to stay in Ooty. You can watch the glorious sunrise as well as sunset over the mountains.

The resort is very good ... The rooms are good. Service is good and the food they serve is also very good and tasty...
I loved the breakfast platter they served and as well as dinner.. they charge reasonable rates.
Though the resort is perfect in every way... I want to mention this, the leading road is really bad...! That's the only issue I found...
If you are looking for a long and comfortable stay then this is the best option...

We stayed here for 5 days during New years and totally enjoyed it . The staff both at the front desk and Restaurant were extremely courteous and accomodative.
Helped us a lot as we travelled with our elderly mother and child.
Loved the holiday activities...and excellent New year party which we could go with our daughter.
would definitely recommend and visit often.
