Really experienced the island feel here at Sunset Coin. Great, friendly local staff. All of our requests were met and they were great to talk to. I think we spent most of the time at the property. Restaurant and spa were great as well! it is also very close to must see sites. Walking distance

We just spent two nights at Sunset Coin and were very impressed with the service! Every staff member we saw around the hotel made a point to greet us and ask us how our stay was going. The massage therapists are also very skilled at Balinese massage, so much so that we got 2
massages each!
The hotel's two pools are good fun and there are 2 more beach club/bars within a short walk. Each with beach access and infinity pools and bars overlooking breathtaking ocean vistas. Tip: We preferred Dream Beach Club over Sandy Beach Club.
Included breakfast can be served at your room or in the restaurant, also great prices on lunch and dinner.
The front desk rented scooters to us so we were able to explore NL as well as the neighboring Nusa Cennigan. They were also able to book a last-minute snorkeling trip for us with a local boat man named Nowan, who took us to see the underwater Buddha statue as well as other sights and we even passed a pod of dolphins!
Sunset Coin provided one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had and I hope to return someday!

When visiting Nusa Lembongan there are a lot of places to stay. This island has picked up tourism and so have the increasing numbers of accommodations. It is key to make a choice to stay either in the busy spots or to choose a spot more quiet. Sunset Coin is of the latter. But boy, it has so much to offer.
First off, it has only 10 bungalows. (some 10 more to come in the future) This is great because it is so small that the owner knows his guests. And that is precisely his intention. He considers his guests his family and that shows! Nothing is any trouble for him and his brothers and sister with whom he runs the place. Be it you like extra towels, something arranged like a phonecall or whatever else you might want, they'll take care of it. Trust me, I've been around, but this is one of a kind.
The bungalows are spacious. The double, or two double beds, are comfy and have a mosquito net. There's a water boiler and complimentary coffee or tea on a side table with mirror. The bathroom is very special. When have you ever taken a shower under the stars? Through the door, a few steps down and there you are. Small washing basin with glasses and a small face towel. Toilet and a really good rainshower. (Did I say good? I meant perfect!) No roof over the bathroom, just a short roof overhang.
What else could you need here? Air conditioning working fine, a large porch to enjoy your tropical evenings... yess, this place is it.
There are two pools. One with afternoon shade and one with a swim up bar. Just don't expect a crowd here. It seems more like decoration and the staff will bring you your drinks from the reception area which is only some 40 meters away.
Fancy a walk? Just outside, 50 meters further. You'll find the Sandy Bay beach club. Through there, passed a small gate, you get to the beach. You'll be treated again with a magnificent view on the Devil's Tear. Read about that elsewhere. An amazing sunset will top off your day.
Like to go to mushroom bay or so? The staff will take you there. (ATM in the backlot of Hai hotel) Want to rent a scooter? Just ask reception. (Idr 40K for a half day) Lembongan is petty small so should you want to visit a more busy spot, you'll get there in 10 minutes by scooter.
Sounds good? All of this can be yours to enjoy. Just make sure you are kind to the family that makes it all possible for you.

Stayed here for three nights. It's not on the water but close enough to Devil's Tear and a few steps from Sandy Bay Beach Restaurant. The cottages are very nicely appointed with a decent bed, safe, and outdoor bathroom/ shower.

The photos of this place don't do it justice! Our hut was lovely and clean with excellent air conditioning and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The 2 swimming pools here are really nice and clean and all the staff so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is OK, their Bali coffee is delicious and it is served on your balcony each morning, what's not to like?!
The staff helped us rent 2 scooters for one of the days and we went all around the island which we loved. Seeing all around Lembongan I think Sunset Coin is in a really nice location - a short walk to Sandy Beach and just a few more minutes to Dream Beach and Devil's Tear. It's true the roads aren't good but it's worth it, a highlight of our trip for sure!
