Stayed there on 2 occasions. Easy access to street market nearby. Hotel food was excellent, ate there for most of my stay. Staff extremely helpful. Travel agents Mr.Latiff and Mr.Happy, were helpful in providing a tour of the city. Definitely recommended.

I stayed at the hotel sunstar grandi on a official trip for 10 days towards the end of November my room was book by the my friend so I didn't really have a choice of hotel.however I am extremely glad that they choose the sunstar grand.
The staff of the hotel is very helpfull and kind to help whenever you call with a quick response
The property is absolutely lovely and is very conveniently located in the Karol bagh.the room i got was well appointed and had everything you would need.the rooms were cleaned properly.
One off the best thing is restaurant where the buffet breakfast is with different types of choices with a good taste.
The speed of the Wi-Fi is great it works with a good speed in the room .

This was the first hotel we stayed at in India on a budget holiday.
Hotel SunStar Grand was relatively clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and functional with shower, basin and toilet.
Breakfast was "strange" to us as we are not accustomed to the Indian menus, although there was sufficient available for the westerners not wanting to be adventurous. We did not dine at the hotel, so cannot comment.
The location of the hotel is fairly convenient to visit attractions. We did take a short walk one evening to view the market down the road, which was interesting.
Hotel staff were efficient and did not come across as overly friendly.
Would I stay there again? Yes, but may look for alternatives if available.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Clean bathroom and shower. Free WiFi in the rooms. Free bottle of water on arrival. Great little place to stay.

During my recent trip to New Delhi, I spent two nights at the Hotel SunStar Grand. I had not made a prior booking but managed to get the only room that was available that night. I was impressed at the friendliness of the staff who were always on hand to get anything I needed and they were always cheerful and very hospitable.
The location of the Hotel may put off some clients as it lets out onto some dinghy, backstreets. The room was clean, however, it could do with some renovation so that the old AC's are not so noisy at night. The swimming pool is also at an awkward place next to the dining room used for breakfast. On the whole the Hotel would benefit from a face lift, especially at the reception to give it a more modern and state-of-the art facade. In spite of this, generally, the services are excellent, the staff are friendly and the food served at the rooftop restaurant, takes minimal time to prepare. It is fresh and gives clients a taste of the exotic and renowned Indian cuisine. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which is also continental.
I would definitely return to the Hotel Sunstar Grand in New Delhi.
